Howard Morris was not only a great comedian, but a fine actor and entertainer all around. In those days, you had show talent in several ways, not just play one character role in one genre and do nothing else (like some of the jerks today). We will never see replacements for Sid Caesar, Carl Reiner, Howard Morris, Jack Benny, Jackie Gleason, Danny Thomas, Red Skelton, or any of the early TV pioneers.
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. David-USMC: so glad you enjoyed the clip. Now, go view "THIS IS YOUR STORY," which is considered my Dad's greatest performance ever! You will be rolling on the floor. Diane-3952: yes, Dad's Ernest T. character is amazing. You know, he only did 5 shows as that character!! Thanks so ,uch for your comments, one and all! Kim
@Juliaflo - I think he'd love a lot of it. He always respected other's work in general. He gave George Carlin and Jamie Farr their starts cuz he thought they were both great talents. Thx for the question!

@azarsenalfreaks You're welcome. Lest you forget, Jamie Farr was ne Jameel Farrah, and that was his billing in 'Blackboard Jungle'.
