I use Nuendo 3, Motif Rack Es, Yamaha P60, Audigy 2 Soundcard / Midi Interface Mainly.

In this video I used Reason 4.0 with refills and Akoustik Piano only.

What I'd recommend is to start with a software instrument daw like Reason 4.0 It's the easiest to use and doesn't kill your computer resources as bad. You may also want to invest on a small keyboard to make music a lot easier.

Having a good set of speakers or headphones will help a lot in terms of Mastering. Meaning getting the best quality out of your music. There is another way to make music using reason without the use of a keyboard but, it's more difficult. It's called bomes keyboard. Give that a search on google. It's virtual keyboard on your screen that you can use to trigger sounds that the daw Reason 4.0 could use.

I agree. A lot of the music from the game itself is awesome. However, this one tops the original hands down. I don't care what people say. Video Games usually have an art, and one of them is the music. It's theme's like this one that just show the brilliance and beauty one can create. :)

Noriko Matsueda writes some of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard. A shame, because the different mood of FF X-2 is such that traditional Fantasy fans are unable to see the game as standalone, and have already decided that they won't like her music before even turning it on.

This is a beautiful rendition, far better than the original. The smooth piano with a touch of reverb and the ambient noise make this an absolutely delightful instrument to listen to.
