  • You can also play a D7 which sounds nice too

  • When playing the F#m7 use your thumb. Its a lot easier when changing to the D

  • awesome you are now my TEACHER!

  • Wish I had an 8k dollar Martin D-45 :/

  • BEAUTYFUL LIDIAN SOUND...

  • hi peter vogl

  • THumb up;)

  • thank u!!!!! is very good

  • peter- thank you very much- great lesson- picked it up after two viewing- searching for more lessons ! thanks again

  • thank you vert much! great lesson- easy to follow- picked it up after two viewings

  • In my op the lack of a slow metronome from the beginnig damages the lesson and when it comes at the end it's too...fast.

There is a small pattern mistake between 2.37 and 2.57 though he corrects later.

BTW good job...better if he could use a drum o a steady slow tempo from the beginning next lessons....in my opinion.

  • In my op the lack of a slow metronome from the beginnig damages the lesson even though he goes slowly in the demo but...without any tempo! The drums at the end is good but risults too fast even for an intermediate due to the initial lack of a slow steady tempo. A student can estimate by himself but it takes many repetiotions at 2:37 to listen carefully and trying with a metronome the right changes of the -easy- chords. Plz next tme use a metronome. Btw Thx fot the nice pattern and job.

  • very creative........

  • Thanks, It's a pretty progression. I sorta finger pick it.

  • 3:25

xD it sounds like south park xDD

  • oh man ... I love those inlays

  • This was a great practice song for me. Thx.

  • i bought a guitar yesterday and even after watching about 50 videos i m not able to understand anything :( !!

  • @shreyanstar158

Start basic, and check out Justin Sandercoe for some very good beginner's lessons. :)

  • @xclsaga thank u =D

  • @shreyanstar158

No problem. Good luck on your guitar journey, and remember to always have fun while learning!

  • wow... this is basically the progresion for Bubbly by Colby Callait and Crazy Train by Ozzy

  • why do guitarists on youtube NEVER cut their finger nails

  • to play finger style guitar

  • if this is aimed at beginner guitar players, its probably best to count 1,2,3,4....in stead of the down up....he pauses for like 3 sec, skips a couple beats but doesn't count them.....terrible instructions

  • gracias!!!!

  • lol.. down up down down down. I woul make it my ringtone if I could

  • you can.... just download the video, cut the scene you like ,export it to the sound and there it is!! :)

  • Excellent instructor and method. Thanks.

  • Great teacher. Great lesson. Keep up the good work.

  • great lessons. this guy sounds a lot like mr.rogers. lol.

  • let me take off my sweater

  • amazin thx a lot!!! :):)

  • awesome lesson, thanks.

for some reason i feel like my strum is off when i play it fast to the cd at the end. but i know i have the pattern correct.

  • pretty good lesson and nice sounding guitar

  • so is this in the of key A? i kinda see how the first verse is in the key of A(im a nube),but i dont see how the 2nd verse would be.....can some one please explain this to me?

  • Nice guitar! It has a lovely sound. What is it? To all the knobheads who care so much about the correct names for the chords... READ A BOOK IF YOU ARE SO ANAL ABOUT THEORY! Fantastic Lesson :)

  • grazie peter from Sicily (Italy)

  • no but close

  • Same chord progression as Bread's "If"

  • your sir, are a baron of the bar chord

  • Thankyou so much and keep it coming...

  • yes Aadd9= A2 or better Asus2!

  • Not really. Aadd9 means the Chord of A with an added 9 so A(1)- C#(3)- E(5)- B(9)

Where sus(suspended)chords have no 3rd, Major or Minor hence the name. So Asus2 means you "suspend" the 2nd instead of a 3rd so A(1)- B(2)- E(5)

  • yes ur right!!!

  • Thanks for that, that's all I'm trying to learn about those last time. But it's a kinda hard part of the guitar .

  • big thx

  • Aadd9 = A2?

  • uygh....I prefer Jody. He can play some mean blues

  • goodness you americans are so cute!

  • good class. =)

  • Thank you, thank you! Nice rhythm and working down the neck....just what I needed to learn.

  • Good video

  • awesome

  • This is helpful, but culd I suggest that including a little diagram would be clearer, your oher fingers appear to cover strings that aren't held down, so you spend time laboriously explaining which fingers hold down strings?

  • Thankyou for a brilliant lesson. I'll be purchasing some premium videos when I get to that level.

  • that guitar sounds nice.

  • I find that is Billy talent backward

not sure what song of billy talent but im sure they use that in their songs... :D

  • peter u r amazing...

  • Nothing wrong. thats an A9 (open B string). I think this guy knows much more than whatever you think. Go to the basics, books dont bite!

  • Hey man you fukin rock ! Can you please add the chords that you struck, or be more specific about them ? It would be awsome ! Like : x freat first finger and y fret second finger and you strum THOSE chords ! That would be awsome cause sometimes is confusing, cause i don't know how many chords to strum. I'm a beggined i found your lessons the best !

  • follow the link on the top right of this page to find the chord charts

  • great

  • Damn it his lessons are brilliant but my guitar is always and still out of tune. I just tuned it an hour ago and a string popped me in the face. This like the 9th time I broke the strings.

  • this is the first song i learnt

  • how i wish i can produce video like him...i can only show guitar solo video only

  • could some one give me the tabs?

i just can't get it without it ..

it's just all those 4th fret 3rd fret.

    it makes me confused xD

  • If you follow the link under the "About this video" information on the top right of the page you will find the tabs.

  • thanx man :)

  • wow

that was a lot easier than i thought

  • thanks alot man

  • Thank you beefcakejcc :)

  • helpful, great.

  • you're like a friend to me, that's just GREAT!

  • great

  • this helped my good, but why do you use a plectrum if you have that long fingernails?

  • This video helped alot!!!

  • it would be most helpful if you showed the final product first so we can decide if that's something we'd like to learn.

  • There has been way too much speculation on my mullet...The mullet was 10 + years ago. We started filming this stuff before the internet could do this. This video is from the last couple years thus my more refined and mature look.........Now stop looking at my hair and watch the hands....the hands I say.

  • Thank you, oh god. Great vid.
