Where could I get a plane like the one in your video? I want one to fly indoors that can be controlled like that one. Could you also tell me the price range?
You can purchase them from QVC or directly from Megatech. Shop around online. They range from 29.95 to 75 dollars depending on where you buy them, so shop around.
i just ordered mine! cant wait xD and i have experience with other indoor stuff and i think that this video shows that awesome=awesome! p.s awesome flying bro!
Sounds like it might be broken. If you contact their customer service, they would likely take care of you. But you are right, they are a fragile plane.
Holy Smokes Batman! I can fly anything outdoors, and the parkzone cessna inside but I could never fly one of these inside like you. You are the greatest RC pilot ever!
Hi, nice video, you are a really good pilot. I might buy this plane off amazon (It costs 40 bucks) and by looking at you flying it i think i might actually get one of those =) Is it a durable plane though?
That was a hell of a flight! I had the same plane but it went to fast for my room. I took off about 40% of the foam and pushed the battery back. I was then able to fly it at a 3rd of the normal speed with double the flight time.
thanks, i was just wondering because my dragonfly uses the same method. i don't have anything against it but the dragonfly has trouble climbing over 10 ft after afew minutes so i wanted to make sure this will climb fine under full throttle.
lol i bought one of these there so much fun, if you get a chance get one outside and fly it, of course you do have a chance of losing it. But i flew mine over top of some houses and still had control at that range and altitude.
cool, thanks for the really quick responce, sounds like youre a member of some rc forum. i have checked that both transmitter and receiver are on "charge" mode, charging only goes for 2 minutes
it may be because i did not charge it out of the box, i read the instructions, but it did not say anything about a pre charge procedure.this thing is sweet for abut 2 minutes, i dunno, these lipo batterys are iffy. they really dont like loads or over discharging, im puzzled
hmm, for some reason, mine only flies for like 30 seconds then its dead, they're fresh energizers right out of the package, ive tried 2 sets of 4, from 2 separate packs and still no change, this thing nly charges for 2 minutes at most, so theres something wrong
Sounds like you have an issue. I would contact megatech with the issue. I am sure you have done this, but be sure the plane and controller are both set to charge. I get about 10 minutes plus out of a charge. Takes about 15-20 to fully recharge.
Great indoors, but outside, forget it. Because of the infra-red, it won't receive a signal on sunny days. I have had successful flights at sunrise and sunset though. Very disappointed with the lack of power. Not worth $99 by a long shot. Luckily, I paid $45 on Ebay. Gently bend the prop blades if you want to get a little boost in climbing power, and a little weight on the nose helps also.
This biplane is junk like most Megatech products. Do yourself a favor and keep your $100. Buy something from Parkzone or Hobbyzone that actually performs
like it should. My experience with the biplane was nothing like the video. It stayed
airborne for 15 seconds. Customer service at Megatech would ship me another plane AT MY EXPENSE, which was unacceptable, after what I had already spent on this piece of TRASH.
I have had great experience with this plane. Keep in mind that I am in no way affiliated with megatech, nor do I speak for their customer service. However, this video is an actual representation of the plane flying. I will agree that it is very fragile and requires a skilled hand to keep it from getting banged up. Also, I only paid 5o bucks for this one on QVC. Thanks for watching.
Hello. The controller is IR so the range is somewhat limited. They work best in lower light areas, much like a regular TV remote. Outside, the range is not the best as the signal gets washed out easily. Very nice indoor flyer though. Cheers.
a minium (kyosho or parkzone in the US I think) is faster and wont fly as slow as this but the quality is incomparable ... BUT if this one were cheaper like 30 or 40 bucks I would buy it just to remove its guts ;)
Thanks Eric. Hey I forgot to mention, that I too have a "hat cam". I actually started using one about a year ago. Pretty easy for close in stuff. Thanks for the kind words! Cheers.

It is a fun little plane. Not too durable, though it will take some slight abuse. This is my second one. Cheers! ~ James

wow, proportinal and less than $100. and u can fly decently indoors. thats a pretty good deal! looks fun as well. is that full throttle?
Imprezaman555 3 years ago
At full throttle, the plane climbs. It does not have an elevator. Around 3/4 throttle will keep it level.

Good flight. If that were me I'd probably crash it a few times. I'm normally only good at flying outdoors lol
