  • Everytime you hyperventilate you are risking your life!

  • Um...when was he hyperventalating?

  • try hyperventilating with a ciggarette in your mouth before going under water, you get a much longer hold time

  • @mgainer1 True. I can swim 50 meters on hyperventilation without fins and i just started diving a month ago.

    Aiming for 100m by December.

  • @mgainer1 no way lol. average people can make it only half way or 3/4ths of the way. lol.

where do you get your info from >_>

  • Yeah ur right,u will lose consciousness when doing it more than 3 times, but i lose concsciouness in just couple of seconds...

  • What the hell is the point of having that song? You didn't even explain anything.

  • Scuba diving without a tank is call free diving. Right now you just have snorkling gear on. As long as you dont dive under the water it is consider snorkling. Once you dive it is consider free diving. Not suba diving without a take. You dont seem to know much about this and shouldnt be giving people advice on this. It is very dangerous and you can get someone killed. Learn from a professional and stay safe everyone.

  • I've been taking stupid tutorials which got me up to 1:10....quite good,eh? Actually, not so good. One of the tries I had a massive asthma problem and I had to stay away from sports and swimming for months! This has worked for everyone else,so it'll help me lol.

  • always bring dive buddy!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! IT WORKS 20 MORE SECONDS!

  • 2 mins with hyperventelating 58 sec without this is great

  • 30 seconds without hyperventilation. 1 min with hyperventilation. this thing works. lol :]]

  • holy mess!

i didnt think i could do this!

without i got 90 secs(im a long distance runner so I have strong lungs)

and with i hit 2 min and spazed! omg tysm! thats cool

  • without hyperventilation 55 sec and with 2 min

  • i feel like a noob. i can only hold my breath 15 seconds max lmfao. any tips that DON'T risk my health?

  • my friend taught me this secret little trick for holdind breath under water: breath like your pregnant for 20 seconds then breath out and then breath in really fast and do a float on your stomach face in and keep your back straight he hasnt told me exactly and precautions though so idk about it but it does work jtlyk

  • I done 50 meters like couple motnhses without fins not big preparation just 5 min normal breathing, and now i want to improve and i look at this and i dont know what is hyperventilation and waht are u doing?Any tips?

    Cheers mate!

ps.if anyone got skype u can msg me prof.oklopcic id like to ask somethings

  • This is VERY dangerous!! You can blackout and drown without anyone noticing. Please read up on it before you attempt it!

  • This technique is useful. But the 3 times only is false. I do this thing when i first try to breath in several times each time always a little more air in then out. Then when i maxed out my lungs i release and do it the other way around, blowing more air out then i breathe in. this is because it is also a technique to be able to hold air inside your lungs. at first it feels like its hard work keeping the air inside and like your wasting energy on this too...

    cont.

  • @GinoTheSinner But when you seriously try to expand lungs for a long time the musculature around them get more used to this and it is easier to hold the air inside. When i go for a long swim under water or epic hold breathe times i usually prepare for 10-15 minutes.

  • im a kid and i could do more than that

  • wow thanks so much my first time without hyperventilation was 1 minute 5 seconds and after was 1 minute 35 seconds. thanks again.

  • without hyperventilation i went up to 1 minute and 21 seconds :)

  • 2minutes to 3 :]

  • omg thnk u sooo much the first time i held my breath without hyperventilation it was for 54 sec. aftr hyperventilation i held it for 1 min. and 46sec. i have a question tho everytime we hav to hold our braths do we hav to repeat the hyperventilation steps again and again

  • i held my breath for 45 seconds then i hyperventilated and hald my breath for 67 seconds

  • bro this actually works i was amazed at first i went 41 seconds without breathing and then after the hyperventilation i spent 1 minute and a second without breathing

  • tbh ou done need to be able to hold ur breath to swim 25 ft under but im lucky lol im a very strong swimmer and my record is 2 mins 15 seconds

  • Only improved my breath by 9 seconds, but it still works! :D

  • you are welcome ThePbyguy!. Hyperventilaqtion is so simple technique and yet so powerfull. I am trying to swim underwater 25ft without fins. I am pretty sure I will be able to do it by using hyperventilation (I just don't want to over do hyperventilation and risk my life)

  • @anthonydesa how does it risk ur life?

  • @anthonydesa i can do a 40 foot pool without surfacing and im not in any extra swimming things. another way is just breathe in and out really fast for about 1 minute then breathe in and go under.

  • @anthonydesa without hyperventalating i can hold my breath and swim under water 25 meters

  • thanks helped me alot...i didnt knew that!i held mybreath for around 90 seconds and when i normally held my breath it was 70 seconds :) thank you once again :)
