How to fix Samsung behold screen / install digitizer

i did the same thing you did and installed a new digitizer. but my screen won't work now. when i turn on the phone the screen is black and only the buttons light up :(

@BadGirlLush Im guessing the cable that connects the lcd screen may have been accidently pulled on that it may have come out. If thats not it than im not really sure sometimes if u let it stay abit it may just turn on. sry hope it works :(

i have the save phone do i have to replace the screen like you did because when i want to use the bottom buttons it doesnt let me...

thanks for the video, i gave it a try and ended up busting the ribbon connection for the digitizer. its a horrible phone, terrible touch screen. ebay had the digitizer for 5 bucks, gave it shot and failed , oh well. no be deal, just bought a cheapy flip phone for 20 bucks and stuffed my sim card in it. bottom line the behold has a terrible touch screen. anyways, thanks for making the video .

At 4 mins 54 seconds, when you refer to the cable that you "pop" out by pulling on has a little release on it. It is the black tab part of the clip that secures the cable to the other cabling. Otherwise it is a great tutorial and thanks for posting it. I have rebuilt several cell phones including iphones and knew when I saw that tab that it is a release.

@bluekittygirl87 if it doesnt register touch the digitizer can fix that, but that it gives no vib feedback i would check settings im not sure about that.

@Carlosiphone18 its sort of like the digitizer but instead of removing digitizer cable remove the lcd cable and (which is underneath the lcd) and attach new one
