@idontevenhavestuff i realize that but my point is that the consoles dont have nearly enough processing power to run something like this anywhere close to it's full potential. There will definitely be less detail and more framerate problems on the 360 and ps3.

It probably IS an exclusive game - exclusive to PC. Intel is developing this game to showcase their Larrabee GPU. They won't get anything by porting it to consoles, so I don't think they'll do that.

But Intel don't want to make money with this game - they already have lots of cash. They want to get a good start in the graphics card market and for that they need a game capable of exploiting Larrabee's full potential.
If you read the PO blog, they've mentioned many times that they're optimizing for "Intel's hardware" and "the target platform".

hey guess what? microsoft invented this nifty service called 'plug n play' which allows you to plug in any wired 360 controller and play any PC game with it, without drivers or updates. it actually is hassle-free. i have played over 90 games with it on PC and have never ever EVER had any issues that were program-related. i have, however, spilled coffee on a few which effectively renders the controllers useless.
Xbox "720" hasn't even been announced yet. NO ONE knows when its coming out. We still have huge titles coming out on the 360, so I doubt the next one is coming out any time soon.

the "720" is going to release in 2011-2012 it has been confirmed that it will have a other name the the 720.
BTW : PC and XBOX 360 (maybe they release a ps3 version)

Project: Offset developers are hardcore high end, consoles will only slow them down.
BUT I guess they will release it for consoles for much higher profits.
Not to mention, they are owned by Intel now, so PC will definitely be their main target platform.

hey you're 100% right, but like I said, check gamespot. its slated to come out on xbox 360 and PS3 as WELL as the PC. Its going to suck ass for consoles probably.

Not necessarily... The graphics would be less on consoles but if the game is fun to play it will still be good.

This was sopposed to be a ps3 exclusive. Atleasts thats what was said back when the first rendors were released. They have changed alot of info since then. It was going to be on the 360 but that was cancled. Now its supposed to be mainly for the PC but rumor still say it will be on the ps3.

Same here. I would rather hae it on a consle though because I hate computer controls. They are way too hard to get used to.

hey guess what? microsoft invented this nifty service called 'plug n play' which allows you to plug in any wired 360 controller and play any PC game with it, without drivers or updates. it actually is hassle-free. i have played over 90 games with it on PC and have never ever EVER had any issues that were program-related. i have, however, spilled coffee on a few which effectively renders the controllers useless.

Xbox "720" hasn't even been announced yet. NO ONE knows when its coming out. We still have huge titles coming out on the 360, so I doubt the next one is coming out any time soon.

Intel bought this company/game for one reason. It wants to make this game the show case for the Larabee processor.
I bet it won't run on anything but a larabee.
