My camera is the jenoptik c3.1, very cheap one...

In your case i would try it with a newer one with more megapixels

To remove the IR filter you have to open everything until you can remove the optik, inside above the cmos sensot there is the Ir filter

What kind of IR LED? also the power and voltage.

How did you power the LEDs?

Have you removed the IR filter from the old camera?

I make all these questions because I also I have created an equal, but the light beam from the LED is very weak!
