At least Tony Hawk games give you a crap load of new things to do. Unlike Skate, I mean from S2 to S3 NOTHING is new. The skate park creator is cool and sure darkslides are awesome but is that worth 70 bucks? People that bought S3 are stupid, unless you;re a big fan boy of skate. The only thing they did right was making skate 2, that game really improved from the first one.

the skate series woulda never even been around had toy hawk never made the pro skater series. skate had to take pro skater and the thug series and amp it up to top the other skating games. believe me tony hawk would have topped skate with a better game but he just took all his time developing this ride game which was a great idea just couldnt pull through and like 13anned said skate 4 will have very similar concept which wouldnt happen without the birdmans influence coming first to steal from

In skate 4 your going to be able too use your actual skateboard or you can use controller if you don't have one. It was also have an in dept tutorial section which will actually teach you a lot of tricks on the real thing.

I think it is a good game. Sure, It is a ittle late when your doing tricks, a minor complaint. BUT. It has a good story and pretty good impressive graphics and stages. Especially the last one. This game has beginners in mind because they have the option for you to just do tricks instead of moves. Simple eh? Another great thing: the strength of the skateboard. When you start you will probably hit the skateboard hard on the floor. But it is impressively strong. This game deserved an 8.5/10!
