@chris185821 dumb comment, you listened to what you liked when you were young, and no doubt someone 30 years older said the same thing. It's not "crap" that the youngsters listen to, just because you don't like, don't make it crap. you got old and boring, not the music
back in 1982 in england , kent , my dad and mum my brother and myself were working on a farm picking apples , it was august , september, i was 13 , we had a radio and a cassette player ( anyone remember them ) we had a tape of 60s songs , this was one of the songs on that tape , it played all day , my dad looked the spitting image of des , sadly he died at christmas and whenever i hear des i think of him , he liked des as a singer , and so do i ..............
I made a random inputt and up came DES singing careless hands. Oh wow I thought I have not heard this for years, listened to it TWICE and composed a nice little letter to Des, to POST HERE. I then noticed the blogg
delow my new one and realised it was from me a month ago, Anyone tell me if I am LOOOSIN IT.
wot a lovely listen it is ain't it ?. makes ya wonder though? don't it. I'm gon
Eric and Ernie always used to tease Des about his singing and although it boosted his entertainment value and career, it probably meant that his singing wasn't taken as seriously as it should have been. He's got a lovely voice.
reminds me of when i was little n brings so many good memories back .Where have those wonderfull yrs gone we all get so wrapped up in growing up too quick we forget the times we once cherished x wonderfull song xxx
