  • Ahh, the dreaded winter melon candy i didnt like growing up. But the rest I like such as the hawflakes, water chestnuts, lucky candy (one of my fav!), etc...thanks for sharing Lila!

  • I have a request! I was wondering if you know how to make green onion bun, the one you usually see in Chinese bakery. I'm stuck here the U.S Army base and there is no Asian bakery around town. Please make video on how to make this item, you would make my world 3000times better before I die in war and go to Heaven knowing I have this recipe with me:)

  • Also, how would one celebrate Chinese New Year? What are some traditions that take place?

  • @LTredxawn The days before I mainly clean and cook. Some people hang symbolic decorations, but the main thing on New Year's Eve is to spend time with family. Since my family is a few states away I usually just have some friends over for dinner - This usually has symbolic foods like a whole fish, buddha's delight, ect. Then we watch a movie or play games till midnight -and if we make it till then - we light fire works :)
