David Tennant was definitely the best doctor. Matt Smith is good but hes not as dramatic. I just saw the new season and they also changed about 99.9% of the show. Even the song has been modified.

Tom Baker was a hard act to follow for me from the classic series, but I grew to like Peter Davidson. I wasn't particularly fond of Colin Baker at first either but he grew on me a bit over time. The point is, we all have our favorite doctor but that doesn't mean we have to dismiss the next actor to play the doctor. Each actor bring a new dimension to the old timelord.
