so no they aint brothers and yes he is a killer, but somewhere in season 3 he learns to control the hunger and finds a way to learn someone's ability, with in a diffirent way..

well now I know that. I saw the episode where he finds out the truth. But I think there is a part of him that is still good. I love Sylar, he is such a very complex charater. He loves killing, but at the same time there is something in him that doesn't want to kill. I just think it's the hunger that talking, making him evil. I can't wait till the 4th season.

@corinne1213 I think he convinced himself he enjoys killing to cope. The hunger wants him to kill people and it's too painful to believe he doesn't want to be a killer when he slips up sometimes. So he convinced himself that he enjoys killing people and being evil and whatnot so he doesn't have to face the guilt and self-loathing that he'd have to try and cope with otherwise.

Awesome! And a memory jogger. I remember thinking (prior to the reveal this season) that Sylar resembled the Petrellis. And when the scene where Claire is attacked by Sylar in the guise of Nathan, I was impressed by the special effects; how seamlessly they made the actor's faces merge.
