Now, 635 / 100 / 3 is about 2.1, but when we add up the number of sons and daughters these congressmen have, we're no doubt going to be looking at a gross underepresentation of people in military sevice amongst these people...
Indeed, if these 635 leaders have an average of 2 children each, then we should on average expect to see four or five in military service, where we only see one...

Btw, Obama leads McCain in donations from active military personnel by 6/1 (Ron Paul leads McCain 4/1) which is striking because the military is usually very conservative. Best schooling in the nation?! You are only allowed to go to school where you are stationed at and if you go over seas no school for you what are you smoking?
When I got out I didn't get nothin everyones like oh you get the GI bill though, um no you don't only while in can you use it and if your overseas, in something like navy seals, rangers, etc your always doing missions over seas so your SOL.

Well, according to Wikipedia, America currently has 1,000,000 people serving in the military, that's about a third of 1% of America's population of about 300,000,000... Now, 635 / 100 / 3 is about 2.1, but when we add up the number of sons and daughters these congressmen have, we're no doubt going to be looking at a gross underepresentation of people in military sevice amongst these people...

Why does it matter if these people's sons go to war? Does that validate their argument? Does it invalidate their argument if their kids chooses to do what they want with their life, and do something instead of joining the military? I hate when people think that a politicians kids have to go to war for the politicians support of the war to be legit.

The point was that O'Rielly is a scumbag for what he said about homeless vets. He isn't a vet, he doesn't have any children in the service. I think he has a nephew that recently joined and the prick talked about it like it was HIS contribution to the war.
I serve my country with pride. O'Reilly serves only himself. If I saw him on the street I'd spit on him. He already spit on my brothers in arms.

me and my husband got out of the military at the same time, we had 5 days to pack up and get off the base. then for 10 months afterwards were homeless with a baby. we had to work our butts off from nothing (not even a last paycheck) to get what we have now, which is a small apartment and minimum wage job.

It is on the same token that people don't complain enough about the horrors of war. You even said that many of us have never seen war, I assume you haven't either. But, even if we do see war it would infuriate everyone even more. You don't have to go very far, just watch a war movie and it takes away any happy thought because you are watching people get killed. That is just in a movie; now imagine real life of course people would speak against it even more.

Don't forget about those that wanted to go. But regardless, whether they went for the right or wrong reasons, they should have been able to get the help needed. There and back. And that's the horror. Hearing stuff like that really saddens me, that something like this would be done. I have friends that stay up on this stuff. And just hearing the stuf they know sickens me.

Wow, I had no idea that the ratio of homeless vets/total homeless was 1/4! That is really bad! Btw, Obama leads McCain in donations from active military personnel by 6/1 (Ron Paul leads McCain 4/1) which is striking because the military is usually very conservative. Perhaps this is partly because McCain has a consistent voting record of voting against any bill that has anything to do with assisting veterans.

To me your overall analysis &commentary would attract way more eyeballs if this were cut (repackaged) into 4 sep segments, titled (1 of 4, 2 of 4) etc, so they show up in same RELATED VIDEO queues. First reason for this is the obvious one: America's notoriously short attention spans. But 2nd, by packing it all into 1 piece, there is no breathing space for someone to reply on-point to various points you've made. 3rd: It's still all valid material.
