At least that's how Novoselic plays it. But if you listen to the song and you don't hear a slide the way i do, then don't play it. Simple as that.

I never said anything about this guy in the video or how he plays it. And yes it did sound right. But it depends, the pick produces a slightly different sound and sometimes you can here it. But i'm not saying using a pick is wrong. I'm just saying that i prefer finger-picking.

And no, i wouldn't say that using a pick is harder. IMO it makes it a little easier and in the end can limit the bassist.
