Well IMHO it's really not so bad if you take it for what it is: a game. But a lot of people tend to see it as taking the place of real guitar playing, which is annoying. Like they watch Eddie Van Halen play and think, "Oh, I can do THAT," just because they've beaten GH on expert, or whatever. But if you realize that it's just for fun, it's enjoyable. It's like the difference between playing a Madden game and going out and playing real football. Just my $0.02. :-D
