  • Suze's sister (Denise De Marchi) was in a band called The Living Daylights. I have one of their songs on my channel. They were great live. Yak from Johnny Diesel & The Injectors played drums for them.

  • saw them at the landsdown hotel in sydney , small venue , right at the front so close you could touch the stage , awesome ,,, damm she was hot!!. anyone remember her sisters bands name ? had one hit single . saw them too and her sister had a great voice too .

  • @andydwyerno1 just rememberd ,, her sister was in the maybe dolls .

  • Aussie!!!

  • I used to listen to this song over & over again with my trusty old 'walkman'

  • Bring back the 90's!!!

  • this band rocks

  • Awesome song :)

  • The problem with artists like Pink today they ring out that their 'Rock' artists, They've got nothing on bands like this ;-)

  • My mum got asked by suze to join this band in the 80's. But she married my dad and had me instead lol.

  • when this was released, i was in uni.. all the guys i knew were absolutely in lust with Suze.. and so was i

it's a crying shame they were never huge.. they deserved to be.. and more

  • Also look at anything by this band you mean !! You won't be sorry .

Remember seeing one of their first gigs at The Palace Melbourne , they were supposed to be supporting Angels but all but blew them off the stage.

  • For some reason I can hear Bon Scott singing this. Maybe he did? Baby Animals deserved to be huge but something happened on the way to that place. Another gem for the Land of Oz

  • Also look at "rush you " by the same act, amazing

  • Great song, great song.

    And she is so hot

    WOW

  • great gutsy song

    great band

    great album

    and sexy suze

  • This girl can sing and not that piss weak Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus shyte.

  • Man, I haven't heard this song in 20 years or so. It was a minor hit i Denmark.

  • Aussie rock at its best, even though she was rooting nuno...lol

  • Susie & the animals great band

  • my dad played in a band with the guitarist. it was a cold chisel cover the band was called swing shift and he was called craig rhodes

  • @Yuhtube101 swingshift were great ive seen them heaps(few years ago now)

  • Only if we could hear these RIFFS again!!

  • Daaaaaaaamn!!!!

  • Dave Leslie sitting next to Sue and the lead guitarist in the band, used to play bass in a band called _______ ______ ........... anyone got any idea. O.K. it started with A.

  • Aussie rock at its finest like many and a classic example why bands run elsewhere for promotion .

  • Awesome band and I think they're touring again now or soon in Western Australia

  • Suze DeMarchi.

    The Goddess of Rock.

  • Awesome song. I never grow tired of hearing it. Makes the drive in the car go that little bit faster when it comes on the iPod.

  • i saw them support bryan adams in 1991 and remembered her very well (perv) and remembered the baby part of the name but that was it - they were very loud!

  • Amen Mr. Cosmo. I came across a 7" single of theirs in the bargain bin some 15 years ago and was blown away, subsequently buying their excellent debut album and the not-so-excellent follow up. She's a good looking girl and should have been recognized as one of the very best female rock voices. She went on to do some debut stuff which I shall have to track down.

  • Oh these were the days. nothing round like this now days. f..k yeah

  • yes they shit on britney !!!

  • holy mother of God...just got goosebumps....

  • People say I am living in the past and say I need to get with it. If "getting with it" means listerning to that whiney, depressing, manufactured RUBBISH that occupies the charts today, then I say these "people" don't know what they are missing.

  • @UnstableEquilbrium who listens to what's on "the charts", anyway?

  • kings of the sun had the same problem. fantastic aussie rockers led astray by useless record company marketing clowns. aahh suzy Nuno;s a lucky man.

  • @dagoelius I remember 'Serpentine' and seeing them open for the Gunner's in Sydney. The lead singer mooned the crowd and Axl told him off lol.

  • best female rock voice ever.

  • suze is beautiful !!!

  • Totally agree with the comments of Marketing blunders! Timing is everything, and Baby animals were up against a new age of muso's GRUNGE, look how clean and tidy they look is this clip. Yet the music is so much tougher.

  • Amazing song...

    Amazing woman...

  • i remember seeing them in 1991 in a pub i was a metre away from her and she was wearing black spandex tight pants, oh boy what a great night that was :))

  • wonder if suzi and mike hutchence ever hooked up ??

  • Someon with skills should post a guitar tab for this song.

Oh and Suze is off the hook. Even now.

  • They're doing the A Day On The Green Tour in Dec/Jan/Feb 2011 with Train and INXS.

  • Brilliant! One of the best Aussie rock songs of all time!

  • I love her seductive eyes.

  • a briliant song / band !

  • saw them support Bryan Adams in 1991. That Suzi Demarchi is gorgeous!

  • And the US has a shitload bigger population than Australia as well.

  • Hey sweety Long time no see.

  • shes hot

  • she reminds me of Diesel... same calibre of awesome!

  • lol DL64

  • daveleslie64

Are you serious? What a great player..great band..

  • Her sister had band calling the living daylights.

  • what a honey!

  • todays Suze De Marchi just does NOT have the same "power" that the Suze DeMarchi in this song has. Legendary stuff here, thankyou so very much PunsArchive for posting this. many memoriesmakes me feel alive again and proud to be an Aussie.

  • PUMPS!!!!

    Vocals pump!

    Guitar pumps!

    Drum outtro PUMPS!

I was in a covers band and we did this in the early 90's - always went down a treat :-)

  • I had this album in the uk when it came out and I have just moved to Melbourne and heard it on the radio... top stuff and boy would she get it!!!

  • God damn, she is SMOKING HOT! I just had a flashback to being in my late teens and losing my mind over her the first time around. AMAZING voice too! WOW!

  • Fella's, is Suze THE hotest Rock Chick you've ever seen/heard or am i insane?

It make's what kid's come out with today, no offence to the younger gen, sound like vomit.

  • @drumdust - Suze IS the hottest hettest heppest hippest hypest hotteh hotTEH chick I have ever laid eyes on. The singing only makes it dirtier.

  • That guitar player looks really FAT....

  • What a band. They were fucken awsome. Saw them live all over Sydney in 1991. Great times!!

  • SsomebodyTookMyName- are u serious wow i need to get me some tickets and i'm not talkin dunny roll shit tickets either thats awesome news thank you

  • Baby Animals deliver!

  • Just found out that they are going to be in concert in Melbourne and Sydney in January 2010!

  • hahah I'm playing Satanic Warmaster in another window and watching this. hilarious.

  • cool. I thought it was going to be dumb because of the name, but it sounds like good club rock music.

  • This was easily in the top 5 90's albums IMHO

  • fuck they were good

  • This song has everything.Melody, technical ability, and fantastic singing!!.Pink would die to sing and look like this woman. The marketing people should hang their tiny peabrained heads in shame that this band didnt get the recognition they should have been afforded!!

  • how in christ's name does this get 3000 views and Britney Spears' shit gets 10 million. Marketing has a lot to answer for.

  • That's because the general public suffers from a fetes fixation.

  • A condition that's been intentionally induced by the entertainment industry no doubt.

  • "no doubt", they were a great band...

  • LOL I was an Extra in this in 1991 pause at 3:20 as she pulls off the tie. Im the vest guy, the suit guy and the pull the tie of the guy at 3:20 if you pause it... LOL

  • muito bom!

  • Saw these guys supporting Bryan Adams on his Waking Up The Neighbours tour in 1991 - they should have been much bigger than they ultimately became and the girl could really rock out!

  • Agreed - they should have been big like INXS. This song is tight az! They were perhaps unfortubate that this sound was at the end of its ride around 91 - the gruunge movemnet moved in and killed off everything - even Gun's n Roses. It sux - I never liked Grunge and still prefer Rock to this day! - This tune really kicks - how can anyone not get it?

  • they were in the top 10 all time australian groups ..she was rock right through and through
