  • anithingla,

    Same to you.

    Wah Lau Eh ?

it took 8 months for you to get orgasm !

    Rudeness begets rudeness

It is all in the papers about PRC ladies snatching our guys and breaking up families,

Otherwise, why NO MAIDS from PRC....

Obviously, there are good reasons why NO MAIDS from PRC.

LET THE RESULTS SPEAK for themselves.

  • This school wasted my secondary school years all because they cared too much about their value-added status than the well being of students. And now, it literally cease to exist except that their building still stands.

Fast forward now,it seeems that noone wants to be associated with the building now. the foreign workers cant even have a decent place to stay! Man thats sad

  • i kinda have this feeling that crime rate might increase at that area. i dont mean to be mean but its a hunch!

  • If the Gov does not care about the old National Library, what do you think they will care about the feeling of the residents at Serangoon? Perhaps they should ask their MP if they got any REAL power to intervene.....

My parents stayed at Boon Lay and the flats there are swamped by foreign workers and HDB only allows M'sian Blue collar workers to stay, I even wrote to HDB regarding this Issue. They replied but when I ask ask again about only M'sia can stay at HDB falts, no reply..........

  • Now with women included in the proposed DORMITORY(women mainly from PRC), we can expect a more exciting time in SG - Serangoon Gardens.

There will be 'ladies of the night'...and later, we will read of news of broken families, violence, husband snatching by thes China girls.

  • FUCK YOU BobMac1995

    thats not true

  • Thanks for yr feedback.

Yes, the concern is fair comments.

Now, there will be girls & men included in the 600 foreign workers from the manufafuring sector (NOT construction).

One of my fellow Singaporean friends made a very smart observation:

Most contruction workers come from China, India,BanglaDesh,Thai,Malaysia..

Manufacturing sector workers MAINLY come from China..These people are chosen to stay in Serangoon Gardens -probably to appease the xenophobia amongst the S'poreans.

  • very irresponsible act to just dump them in the neighbourhood with schools nearby, childrens and residents. We all have different cultures and living habits how to get along. I hope govt wont take neighbourhood as workers dorm loh....although we are just common residents but respect our living loh.

  • And it is not just 80 or 100 of them but 600 and later 1000, it is alot loh. Seragoon Gardens is always a nice simple, peaceful area now come so many these workers 600-1000 of them, the area will definitely become more complicated, 复杂!! who will like it!

the property prices near the workers dorm will also dropped 20-30% and be affected one loh. Who wants to buy a property near the dorm rite. Poor serangoon gardens residents, who are going to compensate their losses?

  • Even though sg is small but i dun think it is so small until there is absolutely no other places to house the workers and must put them at sgrn gardens. Today at sgrn gardens how about tmr? at ang mo kio, hougang, toa payoh, bedok or tampines? They seriously treat neighbourhood as workers dorm issit.

  • Ain't it is govt bodies responsibilities to find and locate the worker's dorm in the right and suitable area, together with other dorms, how can they just dump it in a neighbourhood like this and causing disturbance to the residents. It's very irresponsible loh.

  • Funny, how fast we forgot our own roots. Most of us, incl many of the 1400 residents are descendants of immigrants. Our ancestors include pig-tailed trishaw pullers, callgirls, etc. Remember the many night-soil carrriers from China;gangsters and pimps;opium dens in Chinatown,Boat Quay so close to the City.

Do not forget the common word amongst us, Hokkiens - Chap Chengs; when our own fathers have so many wives, and we have many step bros and sisters. This is destiny.

    We are getting xenophobic.

  • this is 2 different issues, not that we forgotten our descendants but rather how the matter is handle. The dorm shld be house in a suitable area and not treat the neighbourhood as dorm hub.

Serangoon Gardens has always been a nice neighbourhood now come 600-1000 foreigners workers living beside u how u feel? the place suddenly become complicated and the residents have to deal with these workers even co-exist with them. It shld be built to where it belongs not causing disturbance to residents

  • housing forgein workers right next to a mostly high income group of people is a totally insane idea.....
