cpu i recomend is a i5 2500 or i5 2500k or i7 2600 or a i7 2600k all experts say them 2 cpu are the ideal cpus for any custom build and u had the money if u were gunna spend all that money on all that shit do research and dnt ever work in computer workshop last thing i need is a nother computer repaire shop telling me that u cant upgrade a laptop that your get what your given if u want adivse peps about computer reseach ur self because no 1 knows nothing anymore

@batty251 At the time that I build this pc there was no i5 or i7 K processor yet. The best GPU at the time was GTX 480 (I went with 2 GTX 460 - same performance but more cheap). SSD for OS, 2x 640GB HDD WD black for programs and games, 2x 1TB WD green drives for storage

@batty251 1st the 560ti wasn't out when he built this computer, 2nd 1x1TB hard drive would be a lot slower read/write time than his RAID setup, 3rd a single SSD is plenty fast for app loading especially given the time he bought it and the price they commanded.

As far as bang for buck he did great. Overkill on the PSU but he's had that from previous builds. This was built to his needs, you built yours for your own.

1. Some 2 years old+ AMD motherboard support the latest AMD processors. So for you changing those mobos for the ones release a couple months ago its not an upgrade since they both support the same socket.

2. Compare a Dual-core vs Quad Core with the same GPU you will only obtain a couple of extra frames. Anyway, any fps passing your monitor refresh rate is useless so those extra frames are a waste.

3.I'm happy with my "outdated" pc.
