  • Don't follow the diet plan, it is so complicated. Just dont eat fast food, dont eat fried things, dont eat things that are too salty, no chocolate and no candies. That's all I did and I saw results after 2 weeks.

  • Mmmm I've been doing P90x workout for 2 years now and I never did Yoga X or X-stretch (not even one time). You can replace Yoga, X-stretch, and even Kenpo/Cardio X with Jogging or swimming. These are only recuperating exercises, the most important ones are the intense exercises (chest and back, cardio synergestics, Plyometrics, etc)

  • @Living2TheMax2 There is a specific order and its better to follow it as it is, but you can always change the order (I did it) and it's not of a big deal. Just don't do two weight trainings days in a row (so your muscles can recover) and assure to have a recuperational exercise in the middle of your week (Cardio X, Kenpo X, Yoga)

    I did P90x and I was only ripped, now im 200lbs 11% bodyfat simply by eating a lot of good food and taking plenty of rest. Consistency is the key

  • @74masterfate74 You will only get ripped, you will not gain muscle weight. This is because it is IMPOSSIBLE to lose fat and build muscles on the same time.

  • @74masterfate74 To GROW your muscles, you need EXTRA calories. To LOSE fat, you need a DEFICIT of calories. So tell me, how can you do both? It is impossible (google it if you want). Besides beginner gains (your first 2 months), you'll need to enter a bulking phase, and then a cutting phase. That is a stone cold fact

And if you do cardio to burn fat, you will not grow your muscles, you will only make them tighter/denser since you are having a caloric deficit. It is IMPOSSIBLE to do only weight liftings and lose your belly for example. Even this video explains you that

  • @curt2418 You will have denser, tighter, and more visible muscles. But you will not GROW in muscle size, that is because you are doing cardio and a diet. If you wanna have bigger muscles, you have to eat extra calories, if you wanna get ripped, you have to do p90x

  • @BigSamFoSho hey thanks for the reply, just wondering though is it actuall a diet? or more of like a nutrition plan to get ur body everything it needs?, if so should i not naturally put on weight by eating better meals.? if not could i just add meals into the plan to get the exctra calories? i.e like 2 snacks of x amount of almonds a day, and 1 serving of x per day... any specific foods that work best? (sry for all the questions, do not no much about weight gain/meal plans etc)

  • @curt2418 No the p90x nutrition plan isn't really a diet, its more of a nutritional plan that a breakouts how many percentage of Carbohydrates, Protein, and Fat you must consume. Sure they give you some suggestions, but u can easily develop your own nutritional plan at home. If you want to eat extra calories for muscle growth, you cannot lose weight (because for that you need less calories). Go with your priority, if you are overweight, eat LESS and do Cardio first. Later on eat MORE, no cardio

  • @imafisher67 I don't follow the dieting guide. I'm only 16 about 5'9" 180 pounds, i don't eat bad and i have great results. If you are used to eating McDonalds every day, then i would shape up, cheating once in a while is fine.

Anyways . P90X Probably and most likeyl works if you folow there nutrition guide because thats the best way to lose fat. its to eat properly . working out comes after . beleive or not .

  • @4moralhazard yeah, like squirreludecker dude is right, if you eat nutrition your muscles will get the right amount of nutrients it needs and it will help you build muscle. all these guys who are out of shape and end up rip isnt because they lose their fat. if they just lose all their fat they would be underweight like yourself. it helps build muscle as well.

  • Everyone's crazy about p90x. If you dedicate your time and do everything, this shit will work man. I've seen some of the stuff they've done. Shit's insane. Sure, you can create your own workout plan, but I mean why would you when you have a professional made a plan for you and it will work in 90 days? Your plan might or might not work and even if it works, you probably won't get as ripped in 90 days.. Seriously, this is the bomb.

  • @MsAnaya254 it only works if you want it to. if you do it every day and dedicate yourself then it will work. with that said, you do not really need p90x, you can still lose weight and gain muscles if you create your own workout and dedicate yourself to that.

    P90X (and anything like this) is a plan. You don't have to think about it, you just follow along and do the workouts, and eat the way they recommend.

    Does it work? Absolutely. But only if you keep pushing play. It doesn't get you out of the chair and do the workout for you. It doesn't make you stop eating junk food. You have to do that. Don't buy if you aren't serious.
