  • Can you tell me where Berkeley Farms are? I'd like to take a tour of their farms, but they ignored me. Berkeley Farms must be hiding something.

  • The two of you are quite beautiful, along with your farm. However, it is nearly impossible for the masses to get real raw milk. I live in the country and there is a 2 month wait for a spot on a 'rented' cow. I kid you not.

  • I loved this, thank you so much! I will make it!

  • how do i make kephir grains? do i boil milk? let it cool? im lost , this is my first time

  • I live in Pennsylvania, can I buy Kephir Grains from you?

  • This is quite strange. I never heard of kefir until I saw this video. But as I'm researching it seems that almost everything in this video goes against standard kefir making practices. They use too much milk for the amount of grains used, they use metal utensils (a big no no in the kefir world), and they put it in direct sunlight (another no no) albeit covered with a cloth. I'm surprised their kefir grains are still alive, although they look way smaller than the grains seen in other videos.

  • @ventiganmk yeah i've also heard sunlight is a big no-no when dealing with live probiotics, i suppose you could go as far as using brown glass as well. but if someone were to offer it free, i doubt i'd turn it down :p

  • Thank you for sharing how to make kephir. I just bought kipher for the first time yesterday and made up a blender of health shake for the family. Everybody loved it. Now I can make my own kephir right at home!

    Thanks again! :)

  • This is amazing. Thank you for this lesson. I had no idea Kephir could be made at home.

I have been searching for good real raw milk for quite some time. It is not easy to find. Wish you were closer by.

  • Four days, eh? It takes my grains 24-36 hours to kephirize milk in our Canadian Winters. In summer, 12-24 max. Maybe this is because I use 1/2-1 TBS grains per cup of raw milk. Wonder what the difference in taste between versions would be. Mine's not chunky, very drinkable compared to yoghurt. Pretty sour, too.
