dont you ONLY have pullback guns in england? (where you have to work the slide to get the next round) cuz i live in texas and i couldnt possibly imagine having to use that kind of gun. and i agree with jetbat. there will always be an illicit way to get guns, leaving the common civ outmatched. california is a perfect example. its very hard for a civ to get a gun, but california is famous for another thing. gun-toting gangsters. it just doesnt make sense.
@nejinaji In England, you can get whatever you want, basically. This is purely based upon the fact that civs obtaining firearms do so illegally.
With the discussion I have with Jetbat, one of my concerns is the dependencies of some 'needing' to be armed all the time to feel safe/secure. This is often based on the "logic" that 'anything can happen', ergo one should always be armed.
Though this sounds logical, I certainly dont think it's a safe way to live life for that individual and others.
@mumra2k well that takes into consideration concealed or open carry, which is fairly common in america, it just depends on how often they carry. you were right about the ease of access in home or out of home, but questioning it as a safe way to live or not can be taken different ways. for some people, guns are a natural extension of their hand. for others, its something to stress about. that can affect an opinion of sane safety for someone who carries constantly depending on their stance.
