@nonpoint1987 Not all Allantes had the Northstar, it was 1993 only I believe, and it's high value, the other stat is that the body was Pininfarina designed and shipped to the USA to complete the build, it was not a cheap idea to build that car.

Worst engine ever. Cadillac should have stuck with that 4.9 Fuel Injected, much more powerful, guzzles gas but a better engine over all my 2005 Deville has a Northstar and it's not nearly as powerful as my 1993 DTS. My Northstar has had to many leaks and I've had the engine pulled for those leaks and it only has 62,000 miles. My 1993 has 117,000 miles and I never had any problem with it, as a matter of fact been the best car I ever owned.

i think the main problem of the american car industry was and is, that they have exdraordinary cars. in the ´90 they seems to be the same cars, than in the ´80 and at end of the ´90 they looked really ugly, like some cadillacs, or all chrysler models.

The Deville in this commercial is a 1995 model. The body style changed to an open rear wheel well in 1996.

That change came on the 1997-1999 DeVille line. 1994-1996 base model DeVilles all looked like the one in this ad.

Best damn car I ever drove. Over 110K miles and still running strong. And it still has the new car smell. I'm probably never going to sell it either. Ironically, I have the exact same one, color, wheels, and everything! Haha!
