@rydog12100 They don't make a 1/10th scale brushless version off the summit,you can get the 1/16 scale mini summit in aVXL brushless set up but not the big one. Not trying to be rude or anything but a VXL and a Momba monster are to different motors.

@camaromanss27 ya i just relised that .... ya to the vxl vs momba monster .....i was thinking about the e-revo you know cuase the summit has the same chassie and you can get the e-revo with the momba monster. and saabkle04megafan the lights come installed on the car

Ya it is slower than the vxl version the one he has is a smaller and brushed motor the vxl has the brushless mombia max pro i think

I'd love one of these but at £450+ it's an expensive toy. Anyway as a 30+ yr old adult people would think I was on day release from the local asylum if I was stood playing with an RC car in the local park or forest. It's just not as acceptable and cool a hobby here in the UK as it is in the states.

@richandiben Thats maybe just your personal insecurity of needing acceptance? haha, I am 34 in the UK and don't dont give a flying toss what people think. Why would I care what people think whom I do not know? Or even who I do know actually. Most of my mates just want to get stoned and pissed which seems more immature to me than playing with RC cars to be honest so I agree with what you say, its not as acceptable here - you just have to not give a damn what people think :-)

Jang I just bought a traxxas summit and the run time in high gear is quite short. Can you do a run with Lipo batteries or do you think that the Lipos would ruin the brushed motor. traxxas has 2s 7600 25c lipo battery i was thinking of tring. what do think?

@bryce547 The summit it not meant to be very fast. its a go any place ,I dare u to follow me type of rc truck..Drop in a brushless system ,and a 6s lipo and it would be stupid fast ,and your losi would have a hard time keeping up in a drag race. And its little brother the mini summit would give u a run for the money box stock

awesome man ilove the summit i just picked one up not to long ago and after 1 week i bought the 2200 KV 80 AMP XERUN system with twin 4400 MAH 30 C sky lipo 7.4 packs tons of bang for my buck still gentle enough to crawl and radical enough to do 45+MPH in high gear its the best of both worlds ...
