I`m glad i`m a lover of the oldies metal, and not today`s mainstream downtuned, open string chugging and stupid breakdowns.

I`m a fan of the good stuff, as far as i`m concerned :=)

@donSparda The Old stuff just has so much more emotion & feel in the playing.After you have been playing for a while I believe most people can do it.It just takes the Patience & time.There is nothing wrong with learning off the internet.But for some of the easier stuff.Like say....Living after midnight.After playing a few years that should be eay enough to learn by ear.It will make you a bettor player in the long run!!

Any tips on how to get up to speed on the fills? I'm self taught for about 6 months now, and I'm at the point where I can play power chords up to speed and one or two string fills and riffs at a decent speed, but beyond that I just can't seem to move my fingers fast enough with my picking... I have the same problem with stuff like Metallica, I'm fine for most of the songs until I get to the fast parts on the solos or fills, and it's driving me nuts.
