One of my faves from PW. This is an another album that I believe is a classic of Rush like Moving Pictures or 2112. And I knew it at the time while a lot of my Rush pals in HS were screaming and crying that it wasn't Hemispheres lol. Well Id be willing to bet that those who were crying will admit now that it's one of their FAVORITES. I seen the same thing happen with Grace Under Pressure in particular. RUSH RULES!
Lifesons lead sound on power windows was amazing. The modified strat had great pickups, wish he would play it now. Its right before he went to active pickups. Actually you can hear a big Eddie Van halen influence in this solo on here. Slick and fluid nice use of the wammy bar.
This is pretty damn cool. If the band played 'Ghost Of A Chance' of the secod edition of Snakes and Arrows; then this gem should be pulled from the vault! It would certianly receive the same reaction as 'Enre Nous'. Personally, I think they should pull 'The Camers Eye' out for the next tour.
Im pretty sure this is my favourite Power Windows tune. Very awesome to hear a different version of it since Rush never played it live. Wait, you're Xanadu93 from TRF? It's Tarky! (obviously)
Wow .. how the hell did you dig up Demos for Power Windows? This is very intersting .. Alex always said that their Demos sound like albums... and they do .. best demos i ever heard!

Wait until you hear the polished version! The CD is Power Windows, from 1985. Get it! You won't be disappointed.
And spread the word!

Oh yes, I just rented the CD from the library and it is really decent. Of course, I did get like 10 other Rush CD's.

this is an authentic bootleg sound, because you can listen vocals, and guitars, but not very good the keyboards.... i think is previous tapes studio.
