what kind of programs did you guys use to make the audio track and the video?

For the video we used Windows Movie Maker, for the last time, now we've moved over to Kdenlive.

The audio was recorded with Cubase SX3.

No, just a Hofner-bass. The guitars are one Epiphone Les Paul and a Ibanez. :)

how do you get that great drums sound? when i recorded my cover i could never get a good drum sound. and i also like that effect on the vocals during the bridge

A series of great VST-plugins and a lot of time went down in that drum sound. The effect on the bridge was made with a lot of mid-range and some distortion. :)

We learned themfrom the book "The Beatles - The Complete Scores". Very accurate book containing all instruments, if you know how to read sheet music that is. :)
