Interessant, das höre ich seit 33 Jahren zum ersten Mal...ist aber falsch. Offensichtlich tue ich mir aber schwer, meine Begeisterung und meine Gefühle zu vermitteln! :-(

Palden ist leider so ein Vollkoffer, bei dessen Performace man nicht den Eindruck hat, dass ihm die Musik wirklich Freude macht; ist immer schon so gewesen auch zur Zeit mit der Mojo und mit Etta Scollo, er vermittelt einem das Gefühl dass er "nur" seine Arbeit macht. Umso erfrischender die Schlagzeugerin. Tolle Tocher die du da hast Martin Pyrker. Kannst stolz auf sie sein!

Joachim, you are by far one the top 3 boogie pianist I've ever heard!

I'm from New Orleans so I grew up hearing boogie piano.

I have several of Dana's CDs including the one you two recorded together.

This is my first time hearing or seeing Sabine Pyrker and she blew me away!

I first discovered you when you played with The Mojo Blues Band (one of my favorite blues bands). I just had to find out who that amazing pianist was.

Absolutely terrific, this effort by Dana, accompannied by one of the very best today's boogie woogie players, Joachim Palden: sheer magic! Unfortunately I only once saw Dana (and Joachim) live, in the world famous and very special venue 'Banana Peel' in Belgium. It was many years ago, but it still stands out as one of the very best 'live' gigs I ever saw. Why she/they almost never visit Holland is unbelievable, what's the reason?, wake up booking agencies!
