  • got to suck

  • I have a blade 400 I cant fly as well as you, so im scared to fly that high. I dont want mine to look like that. Sorry for your heli. keep flying bro.

  • I would like to buy a Blade 400 soon, thanks for the videos it is encouraging to see your progress. Currently I only fly coaxial heli indoors, and fixed wing outdoors. I too have flown a model into the sun but was a little luckier as it was fixed wing and I kept control, so easy to do though when having fun!

  • Thank you very much. I believe you will love the Blade 400. Maybe it is a good idea to practice a little bit in the simulator before. I always use the Phoenix flight simulator.

    Many greetings from Germany

    Frank

  • Thanks for the advice Frank, I have the Phoenix simulator on order so it is good to know it is the one you have used.

  • It is a great simulator. You can download the Blade 400 from their website and you can ask me everytime because of the realistic setup of the Blade 400 simulator model.

  • That's why I invested in flycamone2, I also had a person filming my flying, but we discovered pretty fast that it was not made for filming the Blade400, its too fast for the camera man/girl :p Smart to have 2 helis, one to fly while you fix the other :) 3stars

  • Yes I alos have a FlyCamOne2. One was crashed in this flight, unfortunately. I bought a new one but never used. Sometimes I fly with the FlyCamOne1 and my CX2.

  • $180 wow... I never had a hard crash that was more than about $65. Since most parts come in two's at least it makes the next crash cheaper. lol...

  • Yes you are right. My next crash will be cheaper, because I still have a lot of parts. Here in Germany the price are factor 1.5 higher than in the US.

  • Just so you know and so other know, if you endure a crash that is that bad and it costs 180 bucks to fix. You can buy a Blade 400 ARF for 120 bucks, and just transfer your electronics over.

  • $180 WOW what all major things did u have to replace to make it that much

  • Hi,

Oh yes it was an expensive crash. I had to replace the most parts of the rotor head, inkluding the swash plate, the tail boom, landing gear, canopy, main tooth weel, main frame (but I repaired it with an aluminium plate, all servo gears, flybar and the expensive FlycamOne2. The rotor blades did not broken, that is funny. The high price caused also by the high price level here in Germany. German prices for heli parts in Euro= American prices * 1.5

    Greetings

    Frank

  • Ouch dude... sorry about that. I try not to fly so far away. I was actually kinda waiting for you to hit the power line :)

  • I feel your pain -- all too well. Your flying skills are very good, Frank.

  • Thank you very much Jim. I like your new videos with your Blade 400 and your flying skills are also very good. In a few month we will be both good pilots.

  • Your friends will have difficulty watching this video without a deep sense of pain.(as I did) Know that you are an outstanding pilot and you have already learned and grown from this experience. The 4 stars is tough love.

  • Thank you so much! Next year we will fly together again with our CX2 and 400.

    Frank
