  • Ok good thing I saw this video now I know I can put 3/4 pipe on to my coil that has 7/8 inlet and outlet thanks man.

  • Awesome vid. From the angle you can actually see the wall thickness.

    Which raises another question,

Scotch brite, or abrassive cloth? Aye...

  • Either one will work. I usually use abrasive cloth.

  • @DrZarkloff ,Good post,100% accurate

  • good vid. nice old calipers you have.

  • so copper is the best metal for keeping temperature?

  • Yes. However, steel will heat up faster than copper.

  • this is a master,gracias FROM EUROPA

  • Gracias y de nada.

  • copper tubing for hVAC work is commonly known as Type ACR, it is seamless, annealed, sealed, and dehydrated.

  • very good addition.

  • ...copper tubing may also be used as a source of income. If done correctly, copper tubing can be succesfully eraticated from peoples trucks, and relocated to a recycle center near you, in which they will reward you handsomely for your efforts. In direct contrast to this however is the possibility of a lengthy stay in the county facility, accompanied by a hefty fine. So folks, when deciding which way to go with the copper tubing, choose carefully and consider the results of both scenarios.

  • Well Said!

  • I wanted a very very long curtain rod that one couldn't buy. My hubs used copper pipe and cut me one. Looks great.

  • Holy cow, that's an expensive shower curtain rod, couldnt you have just used some staple and duct tape to hold up that curtain?

  • It really wasn't that bad since we didn't have to use a thick one since the curtains are very light weight.

  • Works for me. lol

  • Great Video! I am still having troubles with this. The 2nd tool the callipers was cool. Where is a good place to buy one?? Thanks Parksy

  • You should be able to buy a set of calipers at Johnstone supply or any other HVAC parts store.

  • How do tell the difference between a pipe-fitter and a plumber?

You bury them up to their necks in crap (the clean version) then swing a baseball bat at their heads and the plumber will duck.

  • ....wow..lamest joke ever dude LOL

  • You Rock Dr Z cool vid I hope you don't ever stop making them dude

  • I hope to make them as long as I can. Thanks.

  • Great video, I always love talking to plumbers about copper pipe sizes. I think the two trades use the two different measurements just to keep us all on our toes... LOL Thanks for
