I am guessing you guys were nearing or at 150 mph.... What a sleeper that GT is. Did the silver S2K have more than exhaut? After seeing the SRT4 race, I was surprised the silver S2K ran dead with you only on exhaust. I had a stock 2002 S2K and I could run dead even with a stock SRT4 up until 90 mph, and then the SRT4 would slowly pull away.
yea i'm just kicking it back, felt like hopping on a GT awhile back but i leave for the miltary soon so i'll hold off till i get back. definitely let me know what you use for a RWD conversion, i'd love a escort RWD lol.

Ok...I'm lost. A stock BP with what on it? If the car is cutting out you must be overboosting...18psi on GTX ECU w/VJ20 turbo and 330 injectors(stock for GTX)...send an email telling me more about the setup.
ok so i ended up blowing that bp up but now iim on my nxt bp and this thing smokes on acceleration and cold starts. rings / valve stem seals i guess. but anyway my car leans out heavy when i got WOT. the car doesnt run correctly and breaks up if the disty isnt almost fully advanced. i hit the motor with a timing light and the mark is wayy past the the marks that are on the lower timing cover.
I've read this about 4 times and have no idea of what your talking about. Face it...the Escort was a 13.5 car at the track with 194whp=220ish hp. It has the GT motor 9:1not the GTX 8:2:1@14psi.
Nothing....stock GTX ecu. The only time my car would ping was at the track running 16psi. If it's pinging your either overboosting or using 87oct above 10psi.
i call bs on 194whp escort..i have race my stock sti AND MY SRT 4 with a intake vs 180whp civic hatch thats was completly gutted......till the scales just over 2000lbs.walk him with my sti stock and also did with my srt4 with just a intake.
now ur telling ur 2300lbs car with a driver and passenger kept up with these cars with only 194whp.........try again...youtube have alot of idiots but i aint one..
I have nothing better to do other then make fake car race videos so people can write comments of how their car is so fast they can't believe they'd get beat by an Escort. Go to streetfireDOTnet type in p performance video and watch how it's been happening since 2004.
lol, remember all those other cars are rated in bhp and weigh a lot more. fill your car up with 4 of your friends then go race and see how much slower it is.
