no i am pretty certain this is set in the 70's my friends, just check out the hair do's, the styles, the sky scrapers and of course the music! also the fact that part 1 was set in the 50's, 2 in the 60's so it makes sense for 3 to be set in the 1970's, the decade i was born!!
