There is nothing wrong with what he is doing without gear. The most that could happen is a scrapped knee! LOL It isn't like he's pulling f*&%ing wheelies @ 60MPH guys. I already had an accident with all my gear(cager hit me) and although I wasnt "scratched" up, my body was still hurt. So really, gear in this situation isn't a life-and-death decision maker. BUT, if you are on the street AT ALL, with CARS around, or doing wild stunts, you NEED the gear.
