But the video is for the actual owners (Older folk) that want to hear how loud it is and they want to know how it will sound when it is warming up idling in the garage and this is really one of the only ways to show it.... i love you ford, but, ya havnt been in the ballpark with GM since the 5.0 mustang.. Safe to say, the newer corvettes = absoloute SUPERCAR! BRAVO!

@biznitchy420z So to clarify.. From the years 2005 to present, the generation of the corvette family is to be refered to as "C6." That means any corvette within these years whether it be a regular vette, gransport, z06 or zr1, will be known as a C6. The difference between the z06 and base corvette is immense. The engine is one of the many differences. The z weighs about 200 pounds less for one thing. And the C6 z06 has the 7.0 LS7 where the base vette had the 6.0 LS2.

@joeympower if you want more power, definitely get the sts twin turbo set up WITH an intercooler, because you want that denser air charge. The nice thing that I could see from going to their website was that the turbos have almost no lag.

I can't wait til I get a C6 Z06. I just saw one on ebay that had only 5k miles on it for sale with a buy it now price of only $45k. It also had upgrades, such as intake and exhaust as well as headers. I can't imagine what a monster that would be with STS!!

@joeympower lol. This is badass but seriously... When do you need something to be faster tahn a Z06? The fastest thing Ive seen around my neighborhood is a Ferrari 360 and a C5 Z06. The C6 Z06 would rape either of these on the highway and the ferrari owner would be too chicken to have a backroad run so... I would still love to have this but I think I would kill myself with it lol

First day I had it I swore I would never make it faster so 2 weeks later I put headers and intake and tune on it ha. Then a few months later the cam came to my front door. Its just an addiction. It never stops

@joeympower A C5 doesnt make 505hp I dont think. Its a 427 ci. It could use a little juice but i mean over 400 is plenty for me. My dads little 4cyl porsche puts 180 at the crank at it can scare me lol.

@MangoSmoothie16 My z06 is a 346 ci 5.7 liter. Its the LS6 It was 405 and now its about 480 - 490 bhp from the headers/intake/x-pipe/mufflers­/cam/tune. Still want more though.

Actually a Z06 is a C6. C6 refers too the generation of vett. I.e. a 1966 427 would be a C2. A C5 Z06 would be the 5.7 LS6. You understand now? :)
