  • It never ceases to amaze me how much influence both doctors and pharmaceutical companies have on our elected officials in Washington. Give them a few hundred bucks in the end over backward to help your business while all types of alternative health treatments --from basic vitamin supplements to fancy water ionizers-- are treated like snake oil even though many of their health benefits are well documented!

  • If "alternate" medicine is proven to work more than just a placebo, it becomes mainstream medicine and is used by real doctors. There are only two types of medicine, ones that work and ones that don't work.

  • why is the USA so Nazi???

  • I posted your info on my Facebook! It's sad to see the Monsanto's and others fighting against the truth of our health, and the options that some people choose as a threat to there pocket books!. Keep up the fight!

  • Can you direct me to a site that displays the 30 states that are allowed to have C.C.Ns, and other natual nutritionist to practice?

  • @MrNaturalpro You misunderstood... 30 states prohibit CCNs and any practitioners other than dietitians to consult about diet and nutrition.

  • Great video .. unfortunately for me I live in Florida .. guess I'm on my own.

  • its defenitely Politics, Power, and Profit, not anything to do with effacacy

  • Those bills were passed all over North America..., good luck with the cyclones this year, it's a case of Too Little, Too Late. Jai means in the 12 thousand year old language of Sanskrit:(Victory) and the 666-666-666 was youtube's way of welcoming me, three times the number of the beast, is the Ones that back me, the Trinity. 10 USA cities by the end of 2010. Good luck Monsanto!!!

  • Who will continue the Michael Colgan INVALUABLE legate for this vital reality?

And I will suggest the following open DEBATE:"War against health AND world crisis relationships".The larger, stronger, independent and well instructed minds do not will find a particular difficultty in this NEW,INOVATIVE,discussion.

One of the issues to see could be:can an ill become progressively productive and creative? At wich point?

  • In the school system? The food in the school systems is pathetic.

  • This might sound crazy, but can you go back to school to get the dietitian degree or license? It may be too much trouble depending on how many credits or how much school an individual would need, but if it were only a couple of additional credits from the degree you already have - I see it as a loophole you can use to beat the bull crap law.

Then everyone would be a dietitian + their other expertise. Kinda crazy I know. Just brainstorming. I know that primary focus must be on legislation.

  • Good luck, this seems like a free speech issue to me.

  • @ TreachMarkets - It's not free speech. People can complain all they want. The issue is health freedom.

  • would you say that you agree with Kevin Trudeau. author of his "Natural Cures" book

and btw I support him 100 percent. Ive read his natural cures book and right now im reading his second natural cures book he published a couple of years ago.

  • This is about health freedom. We are losing our freedoms. Wake up people!

  • There is a big war on. The big pharmaceutical/medical industry against the freedom of choice of the individuals.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Keep up the good fight!!!

  • thank you radhia for the enlightening information you always seem so caring and understanding interesting video

  • i hope you are enjoying a "healthy" life with the chemicals you consume

  • This sounds like a witch hunt to me!

  • i still prefer

    myfacefriends . com

    over facebook

  • The few dictate over the many. The rich rule over the poor. Age old story. Big Money can buy anything. They are slowly taking our rights away. Soon they will make it illegal to grow your own food, which is what I recommend. People wake up.... share this video and the others. We need everyone with a voice to shout NO MORE! The corruption needs to STOP! Where is our freedom going? We need to fight for it or loose it.

  • Hope is tomorrow's veneer over today's disappointment. I believe you are doing a great job in educating the uneducated.

I also think AMA + FDA = CRAP

There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.

I love your phenomenal approach, which is

    very inspiring...

  • Caucasians and palm trees don't mix. Canada rules!

  • I am an ND and can tell you that the AMA, FDA, and Big Phama is spending hundreds of thousands to stop Natural medicine from becoming the bigger than mega health care. It cost less and has a proven 2000 year history of helping people get healthy. Unlike todays medicine which take a body part out or gives you pill, but doesn't cure the problem. Keep up the fight I sure will.

  • I believe preventing disease should be the first part of everyone's health routine- excersize and eating properly. I do NOT believe, however, that eating some bergamot seeds(or echinechea and heavy amounts of garlic) will cure an infection. Pharmaceuticals have their place, but NOT as primary health care. They should be used SPARSELY, since their effectiveness wanes over time, anyways. I don't know how I feel about Herbology.

  • @gil2591 substitute "alternative" for "fake" and you get the real picture

  • That is really sad about your friend. very sorry to hear about that..In this situation shouldnt there be some kind of leniency, something in the law that could have allowed for her to stay in Washington and get her certification, especially since her spouse was sick. What kind of human beings could have enforced such harsh measures against somebody?

I wish You and your friend the best.

  • Thank you so much for getting this information out there!

    PB

    The Create Your Health Channel

  • its horrible to think how influencial corporations are over our judicial system.. if you have the money, you could pretty much buy the politicians and put in place any law you wanted.. power.. real power needs to be put back into the hands of the people, or atleast find a way to make people feel empowered again so they know that making an effort will actually bring about change.

  • I dilike when the government does not voice things like this happening. Thank you for putting this on the table for us to know.

  • Unfortunately theres much more going on behind our backs, as much as you were surprised by this and it has been given basically no real media coverage across the board the same thing is happening in every level everywhere. I believe its quietly prepping for whats contained in "codex alimentarius" (like theres a bigger picture others cant see the backdrop to because they are only seeing whats in front of them) and are rightly baffled by it

  • I agree that the topic of diet is safe enough that there should not be a monopoly on who is allowed to even discuss it.

I do not agree that this general principle should be applied to all fields. For example, many states are now foolishly allowing chiropractors to practice acupuncture with almost no training. This is a very dangerous situation. A few weekend seminars are not in any way sufficient to learn acupuncture and there is a real risk of malpractice with such limited training.

  • sick bill.

since when does your average medical doctor know ANYTHING (useful, up-to-date) about nutrition?

  • my boyfriend keeps screaming in the background that all I do is watch boring videos. Should we break up?

  • if it's videos like this, and it's not actually "all you do", then he might be an idiot. but maybe he is still nice and you can educate him a bit, so maybe you don't have to break up with him :-D

On the other hand, if you actually do watch videos all day, you might have trouble setting priorities. Get a book on time management and maybe procrastination.

    Was that helpful somewhat? :-D

  • haha. yes, thanks for the advice. I think I won't throw the baby out with the bath water this time.

True, I may need some lessons in time management.

  • I would like to hear more about microwave cooking vs. conventional heating and how to properly use both to prepare all the food you recomment.

  • #1

    1. thing to know: microwave cooking is most probably not any more harmful than ordinary cooking, if you cook things to death either way, they're waste. Theres nothing magical, the electromagnetic energy at wavelength in "microwave" range is capable of shaking water molecules around b/c their electrical properties -> heating. No remaining "radiation" or something. Device off means off.

    2. Microwaves go through certain sorts of matter, which means you can de-frost frozen veggies

  • #2

without doing the harm thats done when heating all the, say peas, from the outside...to the inside, cooking outer parts to death until inner parts are merely warm. Ther bigger the objects, the worse this effect is. (frozen carrots...brokkoli...)

So the microwave wins big time if you intend to just make the stuff warm a little, but not overheat.

Irradiating all food that comes to market is a different story. It's done to increase shelf life. Which doesn't necessarily improve

  • #3

the quality of the food. And if all food were irradiated, you didn't have the choice. IF things are destroyed in the food that are important for your body, but not yet known, you so to say wouldn't have the choice to eat any healthy food, and are doomed to sickness at some point.

That's why I am totally against irradiating food.

You don't put your pineapples in the microwave, do you?...

  • Irradiation ist not done with microwaves, right? (different wave lengh)

So microwaves are not harmful unless you try to boil an egg with it - which a friend of mine actually did! He is from Nigeria and oviously didn't know better. The hot egg explodet in front of his face causing painful scalding - nothing serious though.

  • Have you watch "Codex Alimentarius" on youtube?

Run THAT the bill to be voted on Dec 31 2009 will outlaw nutrients, vitamins and so much more, you guys have to watch that because its all being done under the radar

Run that video on a search its 4 parts but you will not believe whats sitting in the house with not many knowing about it. THEN research every word thats said,

    you guys know about this?

  • yeah saw that, that seems insane

  • i don't know which wavelengths they are using.

This is not very interesting for my point, though.

Even if microwaving your food might detroy some important things, so does other cooking, but you can choose how much you eat of what, you don't eat only cooked food.

But if all food was irradiated by default, you'd have no choice anymore, and are forced to accept the claim of "the experts" in charge , that all is good and well. (until 20 years later someone finds out, aint so, duh!)

  • The political and corporate trends throughout the world, not just the US is the lessening of personal freedom and choice. On all fronts we are all under attack covertly and overtly. Only self education, responsibility and action will remedy. Thanks for helping Radhia and Mike!

  • Nice job! Thanks for bringing this to us. It is important that we have choice.

  • RIGHTEOUS VIDEO, THANKS!!

  • What a messed up system. I am reading "In Defense of Food" right now. Its a good read and everyone should check it out. Its an eye opener.

  • Living beings need living food. What is so hard to understand about that people? Food laced with preservatives are bad. Preservatives equals artificial chemicals. Chemicals are bad. Cancer and diseases are on the rise. Maybe it has to do with some Thomas Malthus ball lickers at the top of the world, but ultimately it comes down to our economics and our decisions.

  • What the hell. This just shows how much government officials suck. Hospital food, hmmmm, cafeteria food very healthy, hmmmm.

  • Hello I hope you poeple can deveolp relationship with peers in foreign countries. We all need to work together

  • As long as there is an internet tree huggin granola eaters will never die!

  • As I see it, if you are qualified in Texas then you cannot make to another state and practice. It would be better if you country as a whole pass a law prohibiting from send us emails selling us cheap medication often unwise to take them without a doctor's advice and most often out of date.

  • High ranking Bush inner circle is tied to Big Pharma, food industry, and Big Oil. Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush Jr., Bush Sr...

As an example, google "artificial sweeteners" and click on wikipedia link. aspartame tied to Rumsfeld, Bush's grandfather tied to petro, Cheney tied to big oil...

  • Very good of you to contest these policies. I remember when I worked at the Mass Gen. Hospital in Boston, the medical students were all clamoring about the new elective being established on alternative medicine. I remember talking to one of the students who spent a year in Gambia learning about alternative medicine and how in awe he was on how these tribal people cared for certain diseases. After watching your video, I googled Harvard Alternative Medicine and they now have a fully funded.

  • division on Complimentary Medicine at the Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital. I'm glad Harvard believes in their motto. Veritas. They are sending students all over the world to learn every culture on alternative medicine in the rural areas of China, Africa, Australia, South America, South Pacific, etc. Perhaps you should teach at Harvard, sounds to me that you have what they need?

  • it's the new world order trying to kill people off.

  • How bad is the American diet?real bad makes economic sense to disempower ppl. and make them dependant on unproffesional proffesionals whats up with america these days?does anything good ever come out the USA?

  • US drive the entertainment, high tech, computer industry & software industry for the world.

The US invented the internet, the microprocessor, the music industry, the movie industry, the car, the telephone, the cell phone, the computer, etc.

  • Actually, it was a German who invented the car. His name was Karl Benz (the Benz sounds familiar I'm sure). It was an American who invented the mass produced car (Henry Ford). Not being a smart-ass, just clarifying ;)

  • Mike:

Maybe the microprocessor industry. Intel's first chip was licensed from a Japanese calculator manufacturer.

As for the telephone and radio, I believe the first success tests were made in Eastern Canada. I could be wrong about this, though.

As for other high tech industries, look up what the U.S. and Russia "borrowed" from Germany after WWII.

But you know, the U.S. has the psychetruth channel and that's what important! :-)

  • most of those technoligies were born through wars

  • @psychetruth Actually America didn't invent all those things. They certainly played a large role in some of them, but how can you say that one nation invented something as complex as the computer? Stibitz may have made the first digital computer, but he could not have done so without centuries of work by others, like the work of Boole. How about the 'net - have you ever heard of Tim Berners Lee? The car - Daimler and Benz? The telephone - Alexander Graham Bell? The movie - Muybridge, Lumiere...

  • @psychetruth Germany actually invented the car we just invented the assembly line interchangeable parts :)

  • With C51 and PC(Political Correctness) even ordinary people will be restricted in what they say or do. Will anyone even be able to talk about the weather if they are not a qualified meterologist? What can we do? Simple rule: If it is from a big corporation don't buy it.

  • There's a federal Bill in Canada that's very similar to Codex Alimentarius going through a second reading. Bill C-51.

The pharmaceutical industry is bent on banning competition around the world.

People shouldn't sit back and think "someone else is doing something about it." Take action! Write to your politician.

We have nothing without our health.

  • Hey Radhia and Natalie, what are the 5 supplements that dietitians usually recommend? Just curious.

  • diversity is important

diversity is a sign of freedom

    freedom is important

  • When most people are left free to choose, they choose to imitate each other.

  • I disagree. I see it as a sign of division. Japan and Australia are more stable and have better standards than the USA.

  • japon and austeralia has one of he highest sucide rates in the world

look at a garden that has diversity of plants is self sufficient and is in one with nature

now look at a corporate farm field where only one type of plant grows you have to use chemicals or locusts will be born

diversity is what mother nature loves

imagine how the earth would be like if there was only one race

    you may wish for that

    but

mother nature will never allow it

    for mother nature loves diversity
