Don't expect the feature with a star next to them to be in the public firmware version these aredevelopers tools. And to answer a post a page back this is a developer debug version and hackers HAVE been able to get into ps3 firmware however Sony has made it incredibly hard for them this time around, so far hackers haven't been able to do anything big such as this. This video has been orginaling recorded by a game developer or a firmware developer.

To those who gave me thumbs down, I'll assume your PS3 fanboys. Just note, I have both systems, though I play online on my PS3 only, not on XBL. But really, be honest - FREE doesn't necessarily mean a good thing. XBL is and has always been better than PSN. It took Sony over a year, this 2.40 update and HOME to even catch up with XBL. How is PSN better? XBL has all the features that PSN SHOULD OF HAD since it's release. PS3 was release AFTER the 360, but still Sony didn't include EVERYTHING !

appears to be a homebrewed ps3 (ie a dev machine) not a retail build. most likely a hacked ps3 w/backups running..

i don't think its official in-game xmb but more of a homebrewed version. remember that the dev/hack scene developed ingame custom music for the psp via cfw before sony did/has. :)

That is not a hacked ps3. That is a debug ps3. You cannot hack the ps3. No one has been able to hack it yet. The debug ps3 is a debug unit used for tests by developers. Sometimes its not even a ps3 but a computer running a virtual image of the ps3.
