@Furthermore23 Nah. I dont train EVs and such for Pokemons which are responsible for clearing the NPCs. I have other Pokemons specially bred for vs. battles in the computer.

i beat him before with a lv 50 girafarig with lax incense. i maxed out special attack and speed with charge beam and agility against pikachu after my weavile used thief to take its light ball. i took the rest of his team out using psychic with girafarig. but i got luck because pikachu missed alot because of lax incense.

@ac130841 Pokemons' moves are divided into two types. Attacks and Special Attacks. Pokemons have two separate stats for them as well. Those with high Attack dont necessarily mean they have high Special Attack as well. You can check out the moves are "special" or not by looking up in major information sites like Serebii.net. Dragon Dance is a move which increases one's Attack and Speed. However both Hydro Pump and Hyper Beam belong to the Special Attack move type so no matter how many times

@ac130841 you use Dragon Dance, Gyarados' damage output with those moves will not be increased. But its speed is of course, increased. I said it's good enough because of the few high-level Pokemons so it's very possible to beat Ash's team. However technically speaking, except for the strange selection of moves of some of them, I'll need the nature (well....not IVs and EVs if you dont know "Special Attack"....) as well in order to judge more in detail.

@ac130841 attacks that come off your special attack, such as ice beam, surf, fire blast etc.

better moveset would be: waterfall (ALWAYS have that on gyarados) earthquake, stone edge/bodyslam and dragon dance :) the team is pretty sweet, the moves are just OK, work on it and it could be kick ass

I fought Red ONCE thinking that I could beat him, I was out leveled by ALOT.

...I got 3 or 4 of his Pokemon down...I chickened out and stole his extremly powerful Charizard.

Now, I have the pokemon that make up Red's team, except for his Pikachu.

This time, I'll beat him...

did u know u can defeat red with 6 lvl 1s? just revive em all the time till he has no moves and struggles so he wld die , do tht with all 6 and u defeated it with lvl 1 team, NOTE : take repels unsless u wanna lose em all to donphan and this may cost sm money.

Phone-trained. Very handy since you can rob people's money as well by wearing Amulet Coin.
