It's 1/2" permatill. But we're having doubts about it as it is alkaline and hard to take to acid. We'll be mixing in a more acidic silica stone.

what kind of drainage system are you using? is it a constant flow or flood and drain?

@fishatlantic . this is a constant flow for deep beds and we used an ebb flow in adjacent system that helped convert ammonia.
