well, there is no free alternative, but you can buy windows vista. compared to $400, $20 is a steal

New features such as crashing whenever you open up VC++ and being incompatible with 90% of hardware. I love Vista!

I can hardly wait for windowblinds 6 to be released. Real impressed with what I'm seeing. Didn't really understood the potential of the Vista OS until now. Hey, why is it that the guys at stardock don't collaborate with microsoft in the OS development process as it relates to the GUI. Plus, such a combination would surely give rival OSs such as the Mac OS X a real run for its money. Maybe this's something Microsoft can thing about for their next Windows OS codenamet "Vienna".
