  • Don't understand how this is rare, there's plenty in stock at Discogs, and you can get it as cheap as $8.99.. The track itself is all gooood, I'm gonna take a resin hit to this right now

  • K TEMAZO

  • Good shit, kids had the best soundtrack of any movie

  • @MeAgainstTheRadio... how much classic material came out 93, 94, 95? How much classic material came out since? I'm not saying nothing good has come out since and i'm not saying nothing good will come out again... but as a genre, the energy and progress have long gone... RIP hip hop.

  • @digitalkillaz It's coming back slowly but surely 2012 is gonna be a good year for hip-hop.

  • @Matt777shxt

2011 was a great year of hip hop and I hope that there will be more East Coast beats for 2012.

  • baaaaaaad... got it on vinyl, "my synopsis" on the flip. One of the badest flows of the 90's on this. Nice upload, RIP hip hop.

  • @digitalkillaz

Why would you say "RIP hip hop"? It's clearly a thriving alive genre and the shit you hear on the mainstream is fusion of pop/dubstep on a thing labeled rap.

  • the 80s babies had they pop era, we 90s got the HIP HOP era nigga

  • manifest my flat hair style....

  • Fuck mac miller

  • For 10 years i was waiting for this tune. I heard it in The Kids (1995), but it wasn´t on original soundtrack. I will listen to it all night. Over & over. Thank you.

  • ! DOPE !

  • This is helping my headache like you'd never believe.

Innovative style is like a rare fruit that never grows the same.

    I love music.

  • WHERE CAN I GET SONG AT??? ITUNES DOESN'T HAVE NOR CAN I GOTO AMAZON AND BUY THE CD

  • Getting a natural high to this!

  • highly slept on but classic nonetheless

  • The movie kids brought me here.

  • Dope track !

  • This has got to be one of the illest hip hop joints ever produced - incredible lyrics, incredible flow, AMAZING BEAT!

  • been looking for the original,

  • 1994 was definately hiphops best year, this track is sikk

  • chill

  • Real hip-hop, that's how I like it. That beat just sounds mad. Thumbs up from France.

  • thisbeat is in the movie "Kids"

  • fire fire nyc ya better get back and be yourself....jay ohio nigga reppin 513 ya niggas ran hiphop get it back

  • @thesouthrapsucks - ERule is West Coast - LA. That's what one of the things that made this release so extraordinary. At the time, West Coast was all G-Funk Era all the time down South and Luniz up North ... and in the waaaay North (Seattle) well, we don't even want to talk about that silly shit... So this track was bomb on many levels. If it was East Coast, it probably would've blown up, but the West wasn't ready for this flow.

  • @afjetflyr L.A...? E-Rule is from Oakland, bra. Big difference.

  • @1blackone More accurately, He's from Chicago and moved out to Oakland at the time of this song. He NOW lives in L.A. and is still a big part of the West Coast underground hip hop scene today.

  • @Bexly fickin right. Dis track beats the mainstream anyday.

  • fuck the cash money monkeys

  • 90's underground was much more impressive than 2000's underground.

  • LA HAINE!!!!!!!!!! WATCH IT

  • CLASSIK! y'all kids don't understand lyrics, dope beats. this is from 1994 never played on the radio during the day. underrated much respect to the EMCEE ERULE THE SUPREME.

  • @jimbobjones369 i thought dude was from chicago. def doesnt have a west coast delivery.

  • @TheDipset1233 kool aid and frozen pizza as in mac miller? fuck that queer

  • @tehgreatist nah guy.

  • You hear this beat in the J Cole song Rags to riches.

  • god damn this is such good hip-hop. radio stations play stuff thats just terrible, which is closer to "pop" than hip-hop and songs like this make me wish i was born a generation sooner.

  • this was the song when the kids were smokin the blunt on the couch right? as well as kool aid and frozen pizza?

  • @Blackzila3000 i no exactly wut u talkin about

  • Do an search on this topic "On An Island - Erule & Pallas Records" tells some back story .

  • I don't trust people that don't like music like this.

  • Anyone who was between the ages of 16-20 in 1994 and from the NY/NJ area knows how vital this track is, and how cool it was to be that age at that time.

  • So many people still don't know about the Youtube to MP3 conveter.

Download DVDvideosoft, then install you youtube to mp3 converter, paste the url for the video and it downloads it and converts it to an mp3 for you, its got me so many tracks i couldnt find.

    Hope this helps

  • but it's not as clear as an actuall mp3 cause youtube fucks sound quality up. so an mp3 converter is the last of the last resort.

  • it doesn't fuck up the sound it sounds better once you get it on file. First resort.

  • Rare? Hardly. Slept on? Definitely. Such a positive track - killer flow, bomb beat.

  • theedjkingtey - You can get it on a comp. aptly named Hip Hop Wants list vol. 1, should be able to get it on the net somewhere.. original is a different story tho!
