In reality not all of the cars in this video have carbs. There are plenty of aftermarket parts available to update just about any brand and make of old-school American v8 to multi-port fuel injection. BUT, carbs still have their advantages - for one, you can pour just about anything from tainted 87 octane to jack daniel's down the carb, and it will still run.

but lets be real, 95% of the cars in this vid feature carb engines,thats how they came from the factory.

only a select few ( like me) put EFI engines into a muscle car.

never said anything waswrong with carb engines, i like the sound of them over FI engines... just sayin this vid is biast

@CemetaryGatesML I see what you were saying, it's good to see people still enjoying them - classic or updated. A good EI system with fuel injection is fantastic though. We have issues with gasoline quality from time to time here, so some of the injection systems don't always last a good long life.

@Spectre528 ya true, i have a 69chevelle thats was restored through the family as a project car over the past 15years. when it came time to finally put an engine in it, i already knew what i wanted... a 454ci

problem is, is that local engine builders wanted about 5K for the engine, Brand new GM crate engine was 6.5K .... but i found a EFI LSX454 engine brand new featured in a show car that was selling for 4K... so thats what i got. not exactly what i wanted but, its got its pro's
