  • Were can i get one at i live in the U.S are they banned

  • @SOSA15millionaires yes they are banned

  • that is the coolest fish i have ever seen

  • Do you still have it or no where i can get one ???

  • That thing is really awesome!!

  • the most beautiful snakehead I've seen.

  • do they like invaid lake and ponds? pls reply

  • true ...in the USA....I'd bash it's head in

  • what, no people complaining about how that shrimp shoudnt have died to get fed to that fish xD

  • Thanks. Also I would like to add that there has been an increase in the number of snakeheads in local waters. this is causing quite a commotion. this is another reason I was interested in raising one, just to study the fish.

  • really pretty

  • If I can ask, where did you aquire the fish. I have been raising pirahnas for many years now and I would like to set up a large aquarium for a snake head. thanks..

  • @drokell I'm from the UK where Snakheads are legal to keep. If you're in the US, most states don't allow them because they can survive in the natural waterways and eat everything! If you've already kept piranhas, then maybe you would be able to keep them...

  • @loudause Do u noe whether singapore sells it? I'm from singapore and i so far only seen rainbow snakeheads and Giant snakeheads for sale.... Thx alot

  • @loudause as of October 4, 2002 the import or interstate transport of 28 species of live snakehead fish or their eggs is illegal anywhere in the United States

  • He's beautiful not to far away from a pike cichlid body nice vid

  • @dEsSiCaTa - this special gets to be 8 inches so he's not far off fully grown now. technically classed under the dwarf snakeheads, which are much more manageable (but don't like eachother much!)

@damafiafz - they are obligate air breathers, which is an evolutionary adaptation to living in oxygen deprived pools in Asia. They still use their gills, but only for carbon dioxide excretion.

glad you have all liked the video. he still lives on my desk, and hasn't grown in about 6months.

  • How big does this species get?

Im interested in snakeheads, but im just wondering if there is a more managable sized species out there.

  • were can i get one

  • hey can i keep snake head without oxygen system u think he wil be ok and nice S.H frnd

  • @damafiafz Yeah shoyld be fine mate Snakeheads should be kept in well planted tanks so the plants alone will keep the oxygen levels up. Also look into buying some Water Lettis does a amazing job of keeping your Nitrates in check.

  • @andrew1980uk thanks bro

  • this one is really beautiful

  • That's a nice one! I had a pair of channa gachuas, but had to rid them because of the dumbass law. Fuck those law makers!

  • These fish are rediculouse and illegal

  • I love your gachua.. how big is your tank?

  • I would love to have one, too bad they're illegal in the States.

  • i want one :(
