honestly it's kinda funny because on my Vista Laptop when it loads the map the little loading bar shows up for a millisecond and then it's done loading and you can play.

Actually there is two Window Vistas out there.

32 bit and 64 bit which the latter does not play old games at all unless you use emulators to trick it.
