@claudiobl6, The Slavs always lived in Europe, their original homeland is Central and Eastern Europe. According to many sources the Ancient Macedonians were not Hellens and were called Barbarians by the Hellens (which means people who don't seek Greek and have no Greek culture).
It's true that Pella is in Greece but it became part of Greece in 1913 for the first time in the history and there was genocide over the local people (these Greek people who live there now actually came there in 1920s).

This video is not 100% accurate. Macedon was not considered barbaric because it was a monarchy instead of a democracy. Only Athens had a democracy and maybe some of her allies. Most of Greece consisted of monarchies. Sparta never had a democracy. The reason Macedon was considered barbaric is because they were primitive and had no culture. Athens was not the only city state in ancient Greece, they were just the main ones with books.

The ancient term was Hellenes (engulfing all tribes, city-states and kingdoms whom shared common language, culture and religion).
The medieval term was Roman, later becoming ARoman or Ruman, due to a conflict between the Emperor and the Pope.
The modern term is Greek, borrowed from Italian language, in turn borrowed from Latin.

@claudiobl6, The Slavs always lived in Europe, their original homeland is Central and Eastern Europe. According to many sources the Ancient Macedonians were not Hellens and were called Barbarians by the Hellens (which means people who don't seek Greek and have no Greek culture).
It's true that Pella is in Greece but it became part of Greece in 1913 for the first time in the history and there was genocide over the local people (these Greek people who live there now actually came there in 1920s).

This video is not 100% accurate. Macedon was not considered barbaric because it was a monarchy instead of a democracy. Only Athens had a democracy and maybe some of her allies. Most of Greece consisted of monarchies. Sparta never had a democracy. The reason Macedon was considered barbaric is because they were primitive and had no culture. Athens was not the only city state in ancient Greece, they were just the main ones with books.

Olympus, the home of the Greek Gods, dominates the skyline, and where all the artifacts of the tomb had words made out of the Ancient Greek alphabet, which Modern Greek still uses. There was no strange uses of "J" or "Ska", "Ski" suffixes.
