I have the 1994 5-string but mine is ative / passive. Pull the master volumn up to make it active - push it back down and it's passive. I'm using tapered black label Warwick flat wounds which give a similar sound. In 2010 the electronics were removed, cleaned, and put back. It sounds new again! Thanks for the video.
Dear bhuygen I had a question about the sound you achieve from this one fortress.. I have one myself but get a total "different" sound. I would like to learn about your settings from your onboard EQ aswell from your amp, and what strings you used for recording.

@Nielss1992 i don't use any amp eq on my basses, and this passive one does not have any eq... strings used: Elixir, this recording is direct input
