hey u would like to add some guitars to my techno trance tracks, if they are good then u will feature on our next album with grammy nominee Pt. ronu majumda
Wow, that was one hell of a handicap. o__O I know you folks had a lot of fun playing at stage. But I have a little question, SG: apart from all the fun and honor you had while playing there, which was worse for you? Voxbassing Panic Attack or do what you had to do on this vid, singing while the speakers interfere on your pitch control?
Although my guess is that you'll say that voxbassing Panic Attack was still worse xD Anyways, beautiful performance, considering especially the conditions! ^_^
You guys did an awesome job, hopefully next year's winners will get a little better sound check, we were not expecting tech problems to come about, but now we know what to look for next time. I hope you guys enjoyed playing on the stage though =)
Hey it's really no problem. We had a blast and it was awesome having the chance to play up there. :D Thanks again for giving us the opportunity - it was epic!
aaaww, that sucks about the sound distortion =( but this must've been so awesome playing in front of so many people =D great job !!! you are all awesome !!
Wow, the people who set this up were really too dumb to realize that having speaking so close to the mic would interfere? Oh well, for next time, keep in mind rule number one of playing for an audience (and not for score): vox always goes on easy mode. That way you can belt it out without any worries. Congrats on the tournament win!
They let us do a brief sound check before the show and things were working alright at that point. But they didn't turn up the volume nearly as loud as it was going to be for the main event, so when it came time to do the real thing, the conditions were rather different.
I don't blame the sound crew at all - they had a ton of things to set up for the show, and Rock Band just isn't designed for this kind of thing. Like I said in the video description, we should have turned on No Fail mode.
actually its called I.V because it says I.V. in the lyrics :P. thats generally why songs are named what they are. also, listen to the last line of the pre-chorus. he says, give it straight from my vein....as in I.V.
Commendable job under difficult circumstances, Lammy. You've got nothing to be embarrassed about given the way you owned the competition while multi-tasking throughout the tournament. Banner weekend. I only hope that I can have a similarly rewarding experience with Rock Band at some point.
Great job, Pulsar and Willay on the saves during the final song and on the performance in general. PMS Clan, ruling the universe one song at a time.
They had a camera crew (there were five big screens total in the auditorium, 3 of them were showing gameplay footage and the other 2 were showing close-ups) and specific lighting locations, so they had drawn an X on the stage and told Lammy to stand exactly there so that the lighting would be right- that combined with having to use both hands to play bass made it difficult to move the mic stand in the middle of the song!
Haha, it's ok, we all made some mistakes. We should have turned on No Fail mode, and the stage crew should have tested the conditions a little more. But the closing ceremonies were about an hour long and they had a lot of different performers to arrange beforehand. All that matters is that we got to play our song to the end and it was really cool getting to play a video game in front of that many people. :)
Sweet! I had the same problem in a RB contest I entered with the sound getting picked up by the mic and messing up its reading of the pitches I was singing. Still sounds good despite what the game thinks! :) Nice job, all of you!

You should have picked Don't Stop Believing so the crowd could sing along. That would be cool.
IV is a great song, though.

Why didn't you move the mic stand? You could have at least moved it back to prevent less malfunction.

But seriously the stage crew should have known that putting the mic right behind the speakers would cause trouble.
