Just to clear up any confusion, you are not allowed to touch any of the animals or "ride" on them at the Georgia Aquarium. The whale sharks in the Aquarium were actually bought from fisherman who had caught them and were going to sell their meat to restaurants.
For someone who is a marine biologist, advising people that it's ok to touch them is very irresponsible. If you truly are a biologist, then you should also know that even though their skin is 4 inches thick, you can communicate harmful bacteria to them. It is also extremely disrespectful of you to ride on them. They are not there for your enjoyment to abuse in such a way. You're a liar
