  • My Fav Bond

  • So great to see those 3 interviews together. Thanks you. OHMSS is my favorite Bond movie.

  • George Lazenby should have taken his time and he should have had some training because he lacked in CERTAIN area's, the physical he did very well in and was a natural, but other area's he was poop. He should have been the one carrying the picture. This filmed sucked immensely as a result I FEEL although it's a good film. Nice effort though. Good soundtrack by John Barry.

  • He's always been my favorite Bond.

  • God, he was so arrogant...! But you can't help but love the guy....Also amusing how in the later years he remarks on what an idiot he was...Haha...Legend and a bloody good Bond too.

  • BEST BOND EVER!

  • The Aussie James Bond

  • Surely it must have been in his contract that he had to look like Bond during the promotional tour.

  • Boy he was thick in the 60's and 70's. Naturally no one wanted to interview him, he looked like a hippy. The studio was right; no one would have known that the man on the screen was him. Good for him that he realizes the large mistakes he made back then.

  • I loved OHMSS but after seeing this Im not supprised MrLazenby went on to do others

  • On her magestys secret service was a great movie !

  • 1:25-1:26 haha listen to the 'oooowwww'

  • he was alright he just wasnt a good actor and had no experince but oh her majestys sercet service is still one of the best bond films of all time he was good at the fight scenes too

  • I think he looks better with a beard.

  • I also noticed that the producers lightened up on their control over the appearance of the Bond actors when they aren't actually working on a Bond film. When Brosnan was offcially introduced as Bond, he had a beard very similar to Lazenby's. Granted, it was for a role Brosnan was working on at the time but in any event, the restrictions were obviously relaxed a bit.

  • @jksonny yesss indeed and that was in 1981 :) way before Goldeneye

  • I think he was bound to be a bit full of himself when he first got the part because he went from being a nobody to being worldwide famous so its bound to go to your head, its a shame he didn't go on to do a few more because I prefer Lazenby to Roger Moore, he was alot harder and there was no camp humour which Moore brought to the films.

  • It's too bad Lazenby was so badly advised. OHMSS is still one of my favorite Bonds and Lazenby could have grown into the role. He got a bad break being the first "new" Bond as the audience wasn't accustomed to a new actor taking on the role every so often. If someone else had done OHMSS and then Lazenby had taken over later instead of Moore, I think it would have turned out differently b/c then, the audience would have accepted that different actors can play Bond.

  • At the begging of this video I thought he was a bit of a dick head who is way too far up himself, by the end I felt sorry for him. Wish he could do some main stream Hollywood stuff now.

  • George declined Diamonds Are Forever before producers got hold of Sean because he thought he already made it as an actor

  • hello all, BIG JAMES BOND FAN HERE! but i have a curious question, how come George Lazenby was fantastic in my opinion why didnt he do more bond films? i thought he was awesome. but such as hollywood i guess. i saw the interview but despite the problems stated was there a deeper reason?
