Love can be sad in a pathetic way. Its a beautiful song and performed beautifully too. Its really moving. Neils voice has always been one of my favourites, its unique. That drunk from the Pogues once called them '2 queens with a drum machine'.

i adore this so much. neil's lyrics have been so intellectually biting (or bitchy) so long, it's easy to forget how keenly he cuts just being candid. the song's so intimate tho, i prefer it strictly between a voice/music & listener. a pro's performance, this, at any rate.
