I love this song so much, I really don't understand completely what it's about, but I love it.

I love vocaloids, they're music actually has meaning. (unlike most of the songs here in North America.)

Vocaloid songs always (usually) tell a story, some are beautiful, sad, funny, weird, etc

But some people judge them because they're in a different language. You don't need to understand it to know a good song, or sense the feeling. (English subs ftw though).

Anyways, just expressing how I feel. <3

They have to keep pretending to be each other and would get in big trouble if they were found out. We've all got skeletons in our closets and sometimes they lead our lives hence the name skeleton "life" or at least that's what I think the song is about.

I think this song is about Rin having to dress as a boy to go out and do things. Maybe that's why the song and PV have a bit of an old-timey feel. For the chorus, I think she was talking about all the things she's never experienced before but is learning to do. Like when she said "The snorkel that you handed over gently" I think it shows how her new alternate identity is helping her to do new things. It's like it was Len handing it to her.

Well, It's like this. Back in the "Olden" days, Girls didn't have as many privelages as boys did; there were many things they couldn't/weren't allowed to do, because they were female. It's not REALLY the song that makes it sound old, but the lyrics. Although, compared to more recent Vocaloid songs, it just sounded older to me, that's all. :D

I'm pretty sure the meaning of the song is not being able to learn anything, she's supposed to be at home, she's a girl. She doesn't know how to swim well, she doesn't know much outside domestic duties. The PV suggests she dresses as a boy to learn these things, and experience freedom for once, "once I couldn't feel anything", the freedom is sweet to her, but it can only go on for so long until she is forced to go back as a female.

I think the first one makes the most sense.
